Ricard Sears Tree Experts- a family owned company- provided exceptional communication, service and price value. Even with 2 tornados within 7 miles of us & thousands of trees down, they surpassed their original commitment. The operational equipment and staff was top notch. The crew listned and did not cut corners in a very tight space. All safety equipment and traffic needs were provided and utilized. I would highly recommend the to any residential or commercial entity.

Paul, William, and the entire team were fantastic! We had a tornado touch down in our area (which is fairly unique). They were in our neighborhood very quickly. They donated their time (when our town would not) to help clear streets and help homeowners. The communication is top notch and they will be our tree experts forever.
Richard Sears Tree Experts were amazing. We had multiple trees down and damaged ones that were dangerously hanging. The Richard Sears crew that worked at our house to first, take down six trees and secondly, grind and remove the stumps was incredible! They did an amazing job, working skillfully and carefully to get the several large trees down and cleaned up. Fantastic work taking down and removing seven large trees. The crew was friendly, courteous and professional. They had all the right equipment and were able to navigate a somewhat challenging parcel of land to access the trees slated for removal. Their estimate was less than half of another company. What a great experience. The company returned my phone call promptly and were at my house the next day for a free estimate. The quote was extremely competitive. The tree crew was at my house 6 days later at 7AM. They cut down and removed 17 trees, some large, and the job was completed in less than three hours. They came with all the right equipment and the job job was completed in a safe and efficient manner. I would highly recommend this tree company and I will certainly use them again when needed. I hired Richard Sears Tree Experts to remove a large dead pine tree with multiple prongs from the base trunk. The tree was next to a secondary utility pole serving a few houses, and so, the removal work had to be done with precision. The team arrived on time with a large crane, a bucket truck, a woodchipper, and a grappling tractor. They avoided the service power lines and other utility lines. At the end, they cleaned the debris from the yard. I would definitely hire them again.

Fair quote. At our house quickly. Safely removed the trees we asked for. They had a large team that made quick and efficient work of the project. One small issue was we have a soft lot and I was concerned about tracks in the yard. I was told mats would be placed, and they might have been, I wasn’t on site but tracks were definitely left.

Wow! Richard Sears Tree Experts did a fantastic job removing a 120' tall x 36" diameter pine tree in the far rear end of our back yard. The tree was close to, higher than, and leaning over three phase high voltage wires. Several other tree cutters told me that they could not remove the tree because of the high voltage wires but Richard Sears Tree Experts are not only authorized to do this kind of work by the local power company but are under contract with the local power company for tree removal after major storms. They also work under contract for other power companies throughout New York State (NYS) and by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. Their 8 person crew showed up at the time they told me they would be there and had the job completed and cleaned up four hours later. Every person had a specific job, performed it well, and they all worked together the entire time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them for any tree work, especially the very difficult ones.

In our case a large maple tree, difficult location in backyard, was removed (including stump) safely in one day. Good cleanup afterwards. The crew supported our special wishes to cut specific pieces for some chainsaw carving artwork.
Very happy with the work that was done. From the first meeting with Paul Archer for our quote, until they shut the gate to leave. They did what was asked of them and they had the correct equipment and knew how to use it. They brought a track machine bucket through my groomed backyard to do most of the height work and didn’t make a mess when they proceeded out. I’ve used those types of machines personally and they can leave a mess. Richard Sears Tree Experts did not. Amazing experience! I called about getting an estimate on a Thursday, received a call back that same day and they came out to my property and saw what I wanted done.
