Dr Hood was very upfront with my wife's problems and said that she should have her bunion surgery before he replaced her right knee. Also checked my left knee and sent both of us off with cortisone shot to help us manage current pain.

Dr. Mark Hood was very pleasant from the moment entered the room and during the entire visit. Explained my xrays with full detail. And discussed options of care. To find a doctor that shows genuine concern for your help is definitely a awesome quality for a doctor.

I went to the CONA Orthopedic urgent care on 6/2 because I was experiencing significant knee pain 4 years post partial knee replacement. I saw Dr. Hood today, 6/13, as a follow up appointment to that initial visit. Dr. Hood has a great bedside manner! Didn’t feel like he was rushed at all, felt like he cared and wanted to be sure he understood what brought me in to the urgent care and how things were feeling now. Did a thorough exam of my knee, asked a lot of questions. It was also great that he knows the surgeon I used in the Dc area well - gave an added boost of confidence. Felt like I had great care, and do not need additional follow-up appointments anytime soon.

Very professional and took time to explain the options. Would strongly recommend Dr Hood to anyone needing a great orthopedic doctor.

Thought I had torn ligaments in my knee- was actually arthritis- Dr Hood gave me a shot of steroid and other meds and I’m able to walk again. Dr. Good is very professional and knowledgeable.

Wow!! Dr. Hood took his time wasn't rushed, listened to my pain and concerns. So nice to shake hands, feel valued and his genuine concern about my knee pain. In agreement with needing total knee replacement surgery, you should have seen the x-rays of both knees!! Bad arthritis. Staff was friendly and kind. I found Dr. Hood online and read up about him..I think I made a great choice!
