GoogleHey, as an independent mover this program finds small jobs that can fit my schedule. Not all jobs are small though and for the bigger jobs they hire other movers. First come first serve. Fast with responding and usually allows you enough time to grab something to eat, wash up, and pack a cooler. Highly recommend signing up for this program!
GoogleMy bf and I had a baby not too long ago and had to juggle the move with caring with our baby. We were optimistic to think we would be able to handle everything in a timely manner but bit off more than we could chew. We contacted Community Labor Partnership fairly last minute for 2 different tasks on 2 different days: moving and painting. The workers showed up with their game faces on and killed it. Plus, I can’t say enough how thankful we were that they also lifted so much stress off our backs.

Doesn’t seem like Community Labor Partnership screens for any level of competence but for unskilled work (spreading mulch, bagging leaves, or moving items, I think this would be a good option for casual laborer.

GooglePositive: Professionalism, Responsiveness, Value I hired CLP to help my elderly grandmother move interstate this month. It was perfect for us because she had few possessions and didn’t require full service movers or the price tag that goes with them. Everything up until the move was great. The dispatcher was helpful in making sure I booked enough time and made the process very easy to understand. When move day came, the person who took the job arrived early, but didn’t stick around to meet us to pick up the truck. Luckily, the dispatchers at CLP found another person and we were able to complete the move the same day. But what was scheduled to be an 8 am - 1 pm move turned into a 1-6 pm move. That said, I would hire them again to help me. Thank you CLP for connecting workers with jobs that need doing!

GooglePositive: Quality, Responsiveness, Value We hired a man for 5 hours for the yard work. Qunionez come and immediately get to work. It’s not a normal yard work. The part of the yard we have not been touch for a few years and full of small trees and weeds. There are a lot of bugs and bees. Qunionez is working so hard and for 5 hours, he only drinks water for break and help us clean up a lot of land! He is very responsible and hardworking, I would like to use him again!
