Positive: Professionalism Move: I worked for a furniture delivery company. The delivery driver, Peter, arrived on time. He gave clear instructions on what to do and how to move the furniture. Positive: Responsiveness, Value I’ve used this service multiple times and in different parts of the country. The workers were all very friendly. I feel more comfortable using them for low skilled (vs specialized) work. Have hired handymen, and the quality varied. I have found that a bit more oversight is required when hiring their contractors (over independent ones) but pricing often times makes worth it.
Well, first of all, I've nothing but great things to say about this innovative company that truly, in my opinion, tries to fight back against unemployment , helping families by offering people like me a lifeline, which to me is an opportunity to earn an honest, and best of all competitive wage by helping other community members, whom are willing to spend their money therein giving directly back to the community they're thriving in. It's a win, win, win! Anyway you look at it, there's nothing but helpful, meaningful positivity at work here. To me its pure genius. So to start with, they're most likely going to tell you that there's an opportunity for one or two, maybe even three movers to earn $50 each for 2 hours of helping their client move into or out of a situation, or both. If you go past that 2 hours, all of the assigned movers helping on that job will most likely receive either $30 or $35 dollars for every hour beyond those first two. Compare these wages to any other company paying their pay-rolled employees and they're absolutely competitive. If you work hard to the best of your ability, ya know you may not be able to do what the next person can do but if you truly give your honest effort, matched with your abilities then you can collect that wage with pride and not feel for one second like it's a handout or charity. You deserve thes wages as much as anybody does. Community Labor Partnership, or CLP, as I will refer to them, makes sure you get those wages. I've never seen any other employment agency do what CLP does in this respect. Okay so that's how I got started. Slowly on a job with other movers, but the jobs that have been offered to me more recently are more complex, longer hours, and with that comes more income and more pride in a job well done. Today I worked 12 hours with another guy that I've actually met before just hadn't seen in years. It was hard work, but definitely, CLP makes sure it worth it for you. So CLP, is obviously doing some great things in our communities, think about the people who hire them, off top, you'd assume they're good natured caring people because many of them could hire any company with licensed guaranteed professionals to do this work and instead they trust CLP, of course, but also they're trusting us to show up and give them what they need and I haven't seen a customer be failed yet on any job I've been on. We work hard with knowledge of how to do the work correctly. So we all are winning in this scenario! What more could you ask for in a labor for hire business model. It's been nearly perfect in my experiences and I've been working jobs for over a year with them. I would never say no to them if I didn't absolutely have to and I never will.
