Great menu and service in an airy outdoor setting.

Brown Dog did a wonderful job even though they (like most restaurants) were short staffed. Our waitress was attentive and helpful and the food was great. I also want to give a big applause to the female manager who was hustling to get food out to tables. She said she was pitching in and doing whatever was needed to make sure all customers were taken care before the Thursday evening Carmen performance.

We had an amazing experience! First, we were nicely welcomed by the hostess who took great care in the choice of our table; then the person who really made a difference was the young lady Katie who served us that evening. Katie is just fabulous! Her professional, friendly demeanor, along with her joyful energy is in itself a reason to come back, with the hope you’d be placed where she operates. The food and wine were also a treat to our tastebuds. 🤩

Great food as before. Peppy girl Server Lauren. Only one snafu was the host who was going to set us in a table near the pizza oven. Can't take the intense heat. He did grudgingly clean a 2 top for us. As it was we were there 40 min and no one sat at the 2. - 4 tops right next to us. We have other reservations coming up at BD. Looking forward to the food and not sitting next to the pizza oven. And only positive attitudes.

Wonderful place to eat! Their 'Haute chocolate Texas wild boar' is delicious. Just right spices with the right vegetables topped with apple slaw. What a dinner before an opera performance!

Great service! Delicious food! Perfect timing in order to get to the opera. We are coming back next week we loved it that much! Crab Cakes were wonderful and the truffle fries are a must have.

I brought a client to BDC because I know he's a bit of a foodie. I had roasted caesar salad with salmon, he had blue cheese salad with blackened salmon. He said, "I will DEFINITELY be coming back here." And we got to listen to opera rehearsals on the nearby stage since we sat outside.

I'll definitely be back! What a delicious salmon burger!! The All American burger 🍔looked delicious too!! Excellent service was met with a 25% tip!! Clean and open atmosphere! So glad I found it!

Great food and great service. We had a large group with lots of kids and our server was attentive even though they had a sign stating they are short staffed. Also the food is amazing. We went for brunch and everybody enjoyed their food

Enjoyed a late lunch with our granddaughter before walking over to the playground at Summit Park. The outdoor patio was fantastic with good shade and a light breeze. The service was great. I was able to substitute some tasty veggies for my bun on the burger, and even change that hamburger patty to a grill chicken breast. We'll definitely be back, as this is a great restaurant at a wonderful park.

We came to Brown Dog for a birthday brunch. The food took about 45 min to come out - we all got chicken and waffles. The staff was very welcoming and kind and apologized numerous times for the wait. The food was amazing and well worth the wait. We didn’t mind the wait because we know most businesses are short staffed right now due to covid.

The host wasn’t very nice. We had pizza and French fries. The fries were amazing! Our cocktails were pretty great! It’s a bit pricey. We’ll go back. Hopefully the host will be having a better day…

The staff was excellent even with a full restaurant. They were very attentive and made sure that we enjoyed our dinner. The food incredible and surprisingly delicious as we tried items on the menu we had not ordered before.

We enjoyed dinner at Brown Dog for two nights this week. Our table was outside and allowed a view of all the activity on the great Summit Park lawn. Our servers were energetic and the scallops snd salmon were outstanding. Great wine and beer choices too.
