We had an urgent repair need and called DGD Garage Doors. A technician was nearby and was dispatched to our home shortly after. Technician Jimmy K quickly assessed and made the repairs. He had replacement parts on the truck so their was no waiting. We found Jimmy to be knowledgeable, a good listener, patient, and skilled in his profession. I deducted a star because the company website does the opposite of what it promotes. The home page says "Get a Free Estimate". It also says "Never a Service Call Charge". My invoice showed that I was charged a $50 trip charge plus the labor fee. I called the Brooksville office. Trinity stated that the trip charge is their policy. When asked to reconcile this policy against the website, I was also told that the "Never a Service Call Charge" is related to the Free Estimate claim. If a customer rejects the estimate, the visit is free. If the customer accepts the estimate, both a service call fee and labor fee are charged. This is clearly a contradiction and demonstrates a lack of transparency. The company needs to correct their website and I have asked the office to do so. They should restate their offering to "Service Call Charge applies to all completed jobs."

I had a great experience with the most calming, professional, relaxed but also super informative man by the name of Josh. He walked me through all of the options available from frame colors to screen types and even payment options. I love the fact that I was not being sold to.Rather we were having a great discussion as I was being taught pros and cons of each option so that my wife and I can make a better sound decision. Discount Garage Doors went out of their way to repair our garage door opener, I called them Friday afternoon and TJ,, their tech, arrived on Saturday with a fully loaded repair truck loaded with anything and everything necessary to repair our door. After he replaced the Logic / Mother Board Saturday he FULLY INSPECTED ALL ASPECTS OF THE DOOR AND DOOR HARDWARE AND ASSURED ME THAT THE DOOR BALANCE WAS EXCELLENT AND ALL DOOR HARDWARE IS WORKING CORRECTLY and then he fully serviced the hardware. IMPORTANT FYI: Trinity Garage Door sold and installed my garage door opener AND PROVIDED ME WITH A WRITTEN 10 YEAR WARRANTEE AND JASON, the owner of Trinity Garage Door, SENT DAVID, HIS TECH, TO OUR HOME AND EVEN-THOUGH I TOLD JASON THAT EVERY ASPECT OF OUR GARSGE DOOR HARDWARE WAS IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER AND I SUSPECTED THAT THE OPENER’S MOTHER BOARD WAS FAILING, DAVID REFUSED TO INSPECT THE OPENER; BECAME INSULANT AND ARROGANT AND REFUSED TO INSPECT THE OPENER RVEN-THOUGH I HAD ASKED HIM 3-TIMES – – – I TOLD HIM TO LEAVE – – – AND TRINITY GARAGE DOOR OWNER, JASON, IS REFUSING TO HONOR HIS 10 YEAR WARRANTEE– – – and my 10 year, written garage door contract declares at the very top that Trinity garage door is a “Christian Garage Door company”! ONLY DO BUSINESS WITH DISCOUNT GARAGE DOOR BECAUSE THEY ARE HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, PROMPT AND ARRIVE TOTALLY EQUIPT TO REPAIR YOUR GARSGE DOOR. Xavier was wonderful and professional. He has only been with DGD for 6 months. He deserves a company award for his services. The experience today was a joy. He could not fix our problem because the manufacturer of the door opener is no longer in business. He did maintenance on our door and gave us prices for a new opener. We will be researching openers.

I called with what I thought was a problem with my door. Hunter arrived and assessed the door was ok and that the jerking was normal due to type of motor and don’t worry about it. He did the service and let me know I had a quality door and should be good for years to come. As a retired mechanic it was good to meet someone that is honest and straight forward. If I do have issues in the future I would not hesitate to call on them again.
