Had another great experience with Pleasure Island Rentals. Making reservations for beach chairs and umbrellas was done quickly and efficiently a couple of weeks prior to our arrival. Every day the chairs and umbrellas were set up in the same optimal place. We chose the package that allowed an extra 2 hours on the beach. The equipment was sturdy and we didn’t have to deal with dragging beach chairs back and forth each day. Highly recommend Pleasure Island Rentals

Although the chairs were not the best they were perfect for this trip and not having to worry about packing chairs or better yet not having to worry about getting the umbrella in the sand this was FANTASTIC!! service& staff were amazing! HIGHLY recommend them.

The beach chairs an umbrella were set up really nicely for us at a good spot- My only wish is that because I rented a bike and didn’t pick it up till around five on Thursday and then returned it at 10 AM on Sat- I wish that I had thought it through So I wouldn’t be charged for two nights because it was pretty expensive. They are very nice there and helpful.

Best money spent at the beach! Using pleasure island rentals is a must when you go to CB! Show up to the beach with your chairs and umbrellas already setup for a day of fun. No stress, less to carry, and the perfect way to spend the day relaxing by the sea. Setup is always ready by 9 when we arrive and they start taking things down at 5 so you have a full day to enjoy the beach. We’ve been using them for the last 4 years when we go to the beach for a week and always look forward to it!

I would wake up to watch the sunrise and the crew was out with our chairs sometimes as early as 7 AM. Well done. Would recommend PIR for anyone staying in the Carolina’s or Kure beach area.

I am so glad we chose Pleasure Island Rentals. They had our chairs and umbrella out early every morning and picked them up every evening! No more hauling chairs and flimsy umbrellas back and forth from the 2nd story condo! We absolutely will call them EVERY. SINGLE. TIME that we come to Carolina / Kure Beach area. We had such a great experience with Pleasure Island Rentals! From the moment we booked online, everything was incredibly easy. Our beach umbrella and chairs were delivered and set up right in front of our condo’s beach access before we even made it to the sand. When we asked if they could move our setup a little closer to a different access point, they were more than accommodating and made it happen without any hassle. That kind of customer service is hard to find! After years of hauling our own umbrellas and chairs across the beach, we’ve officially retired ours. We’ll definitely be renting from Pleasure Island Rentals again on future trips. The convenience, reliability, and outstanding customer service made our vacation that much more relaxing. Everything was set up and ready to go every day. They also picked the best spots available, which was a nice touch. One funny thing was them thinking my name was “Pim” instead of “Tim”… my kids had a good laugh. I never heard of anyone named “Pim” and they had my credit card with my name on it…funny.

This was our second time using Pleasure Island for umbrella rentals, and we were very happy! We rented 4 umbrellas to keep our family in the shade, when necessary. My husband LOVES the fact that he no longer has to scramble down to the beach first thing in the morning, lugging the tents/umbrellas and worrying about where to set them up. PIR set them up by 9am and then took them down at 5pm, for the whole week. Easy! The umbrellas are great quality and withstood any wind (unlike many on the beach😳) We did have one day that the umbrellas were not set up when we came down to the beach. I made a phone call and found out that they could not set them up that day due to excessive wind. An email/text alerting us would have been great…but we survived. Highly recommend PIR🙂

I have never rented chairs for the beach before. I will never not rent them again! They made it so easy and mindless. I filled out the form online and paid about a week before my beach trip. (They sent out a confirmation email but it got sent to my spam folder so I didn’t see it.) but I walked out on the beach when I got there and my chairs and umbrella were there! It was super convenient and a great value. I will definitely book again when I return.
