I was in a lot of pain when I went into the office Wednesday, I was taken back to the room very quickly. The doctor came in, did an exam of both my knee and my elbow and injected steroids into both sites. really liked the way the surgeon advised the pros and cons of the steroid use. I have found a great deal of relief by Friday in my knee in particular. This office although it is quite a trip has very caring, personable staff and doctors. Thank You

From the moment I walked in I was made to feel welcome. Everyone was very nice and helpful which considering that this is a busy place. I noticed all the patients were treated with respect and kindness. No talking behind the scenes about crabby people or any personal gossip. I may be in pain when I go in there but I hope to always leave with a smile on my face. Thank you all and keep up the great work! Thank you Justin/PA for an awesome experience!!!

I found the address without problem and got checked in quickly. I was taken back earlier than I expected, the only problem I ran into is that I do not weigh at Doctor's offices anymore and the nurse tried to push me into it. She tried to tell me the insurance requires it, which I knew was incorrect as I do not weigh at my primary or my pulmonary doctor's offices. IF I was going to be given some test or medication it would be different, but I never am. I then saw Greg who examined my knee and asked many questions. Apparently they did not receive copies of my xrays although I brought some old MRI's. Once insurance approves, we will be putting steroid shots in both knee and shoulder. Greg did advise me of potential complications with the steroids. Overall, it was a great visit. Just wish they weren't so far away.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Didn't feel rushed even being the last patient out. The procedure was a breeze, now the healing will be slow, but hopefully the knee pain will be less in the future for awhile.

10/8/24 Had my first visit today. All staff members were friendly, courteous & professional. After a very informative explanation, I found out I am a candidate for their GAE procedure. I look forward to returning next week and pain relief to my knees for years to come.

I was pleased with the ability to get this process done quickly. Also pleased with staff and doctor. Doctor explained procedure to me with a video! Very helpful! Recovery not long as I was able to take care of myself throughout. Now into the second week. Knee is not as stiff but it feels like I have rubber bands around it. I have gotten leg cramps a few times. I thought I had these under control from back stenosis. I pray they are not going to start again.

My right knee was in a lot of pain had surgery on Wednesday and I was able to walk that afternoon without very much pain. I will schedule an appointment to have my left knee taken care . Told my son about it and that he should think about it.

I had the GAE procedure done on my Right knee. I had excruciating pain in my knee prior to the procedure. I am two weeks out and I still have slight pain when walking but happy to say that I do not have pain while lying down. I am finally able to sleep through the night. I wish I knew about this procedure a few years ago. Thank you to the doctor and nurses who cared for me.

I feel so blest to have followed up with the Vascular Institute after seeing an infomercial. This was the answer I had been looking for as an alternative to having a knee replacement. After consultation and review of my x-rays to confirm my diagnosis of osteoarthritis and discomfort of being bone on bone, I was more than ready to proceed with a GAE procedure. My nurse, Brooke was amazing! Dr. Drew Hunter spoke to me also regarding expectations and reinforced things with a video. The entire team was very informative and comforting to make sure I was in good hands every step of the way. I even received before and after photos to confirm how well the process went. I highly encourage anyone having knee pain after steroids, gel injection and physical therapy has not provided long-term relief to contact them IMMEDIATELY to speak with a trained staff member to analyze your case. Every situation is different. But it's well worth a try!

I had an exceptionally good surgical experience at the Vascular Institute yesterday. Dr. Hunter was so professional and described my procedure so well it put me at ease. Amanda the RN who did the pre-op and administered the sedatives before and during the procedure did an outstanding job. I never felt a thing even though I was partially awake at times. The rest of the team are incredibly professional, and I highly recommend this group of medical professionals. I am so confident I have already booked my second knee for the GAE procedure.

Superb professional people. The ladies were friendly, quite the characters in fact, and fun but they definitely know their business. The Dr. was not only cute but he took the time to explain every detail of the upcoming procedure, answered any questions and the after the procedure he once again came in to check on me and tell me how well the procedure went. I have severe osteoarthritis, and the pain was so bad that I could only walk 12 or 15 feet even using a walker. I haven't been able to go to my granddaughter's soccer and baseball games. It was too painful to go to the gym or walk my dog. I had GAE on my right knee 3 days ago and was able to walk a block today. By the second night after the procedure I had so much less pain that I actually slept through the night. In a month I go for GAE on my left knee. I'm hopeful now that I can resume enjoying activities with my grandkids, and out in the community again. Thank you so much to the staff and Dr. Hunter!
