Positive: Quality Our initial contact with Mr. Cabinet Care was very good. Our sales representative was courteous and helpful. The only thing we did not like was that when measuring was done and details were discussed, we were not informed that we could have made some minor modifications which would have allowed for larger pull outs on our lower cabinets. This would have been so much better. As a result we have four pullouts instead of two large ones. Definitely disappointed when we found out this could have been easily done. Our other negative was the back office. We were surprised that the change in door style resulted in a $500 change order fee. We had to push to get an explanation of how cost had increased (keeping in mind that production was weeks away). We actually thought the cost might go down for a single piece door versus one with multiple pieces and mitered joints. We did get a call the day before Christmas asking for payment for the change order. Things got busy and then at the end of the year we took off to SE Asia for a month. While in SE Asia we received a phone message where it was stated that unless we paid that $500 immediately our job would be placed on hold. Via email my husband explained that we would be happy to pay but due to the fact that we were half way around the world, we would not be able to make the charge on our credit card as we were using that card on our trip and for some reason Mr Cabinet Care does not accept American Express. This demand for payment and threatening of holding up the job seemed ridiculous given we had already paid $8,168 in deposits for the job. We found the policy and the way it was handled to be less than desirable. It was all about policy, instead of good faith. Thankfully, in the end good heads prevailed and we agreed that we would pay the change fee when installation began. The most positive thing about our job was Saul. He was amazing. Always on time, super clean work and a job well done. Additionally, Jose who came one day really helped to move the project ahead. Also we are extremely happy with the quality of the workmanship and product. Overall we did have a good experience but really felt that modifications that were possible should have been discussed and the change order payment could have been handled in a more professional way.

The Mr Cabinet Care staff was top notch from beginning to end. After installation, we saw a couple of minor issues. Upon notification, a specialist was out right away to make the needed adjustments. We are very happy with our new kitchen and will be calling upon Mr Cabinet care for our next project which will be a bathroom cabinet remodel.

My overall experience has been great as I detailed in my reviews and pictures posted on Yelp. Last week I had them out for warranty work due to some minor settling that caused a crack in a small section where the backsplash meets the countertop. Edgar, their Technician came to my home as scheduled and expertly took care of the matter. He was very professional and helpful. He found another small spot I was unaware of. He then went the extra mile and re-caulked all similar areas to help prevent any future problems. I appreciate his thoroughness. He advised me not to hesitate to contact them should it reoccur as it is covered under my warranty. I first met Edgar several months ago during the refacing job when he reconnected my kitchen sink plumbing, garbage disposal, installed my new range hood and installed a new lighting fixture in the ceiling. Obviously, Edgar has many skills. I highly recommend Mr. Cabinet Care for the quality of their work, standing behind their warranty and their exceptional employees! We are happy with the work Mr. Cabinet Care did in our kitchen. All employees were friendly, on time, and very organized. The complaint that we can share is the final work. The faucet wasn’t tightened down, the drain on the sink was leaking due to the hardware being loose, the cooktop does not have any brackets installed to keep it from sliding around and a handle had the wrong hardware used so it was loose. We would recommend them but make sure and check everything better than we did on the final day.

Company refaced kitchen cabinets. Overall, quality and work was good. I was promised an incentive program which included cleaning, help with unloading and loading cabinets and food coupons but that never quite happened. They said they sent an email which I never got and refused to send an email again. But in fairness, the sales rep offered to help me which I told her wasn’t necessary. The job went longer than expected but they worked with me to get it largely completed to a more manageable point. So overall I was pleased.

Mr Cabinet Care was the only contractor who could give me an estimate during the initial meeting. After getting 3 other quotes, they were very competitive. They were also the only company who provides a 20 year guarantee. The cabinets are custom made in Anaheim for my kitchen, not ordered from a ware house outside of the US. They were always very responsive, communicated well and showed up when scheduled. There is some down time between cabinet installation and counter installation, but the complete project from demo to final was exactly 1 month. Sergio, the contractor they suggested for the additional work that MRCC does not do, was great as well. Very good at communication and keeping me informed throughout the process. I love my new kitchen. It's high quality at a reasonable price.
