The team here really helped me a lot! About a month before the Ogden Marathon, I had some knee pain develop during a long run. When it didn’t go away after a week, I made an appointment to see if trying to continue running would wreck my knee. I was assessed and given a plan that included exercises and stemwave. The first day after treatment, I felt a lot better. I had several appointments before the event. I am happy to say I completed the marathon pain free! The staff here is really friendly and helpful. I went in for rotator cuff PT and I can tell you that is a difficult and long recovery. Ryan and his team did an amazing job with getting me back full use of my shoulder. Ryan is an excellent Dr and is incredibly knowledgeable. He listened to and answered any and all of my questions regarding my recovery. He also offers Stemwave therapy which I know helped with my recovery process. Ryan pushes and encourages you to improve. His staff is amazing! They are knowledgeable and so kind. Ryan and his staff are amazing!! I had a total knee replacement April 30 2025. Ryan worked with me to get me where I wanted to be. The staff show you all the ways to work your knee from wall slides to total gym. Then he will work on you to get the range of motion you need. Yes pt is painful at times but you have to do it to get range of motion. I would highly recommend physical therapy & sports medicine in north Ogden.

I had a pretty severe injury on my right shoulder 5 months ago had surgery 4 months ago and have been doing physical therapy for 9 weeks. The recovery was moving fairly well and I was having too much pain to do the exercises fully. They recommended stemwave therapy so, I did it. The results are incredible. After just one treatment within 48 hours I was able to raise my arm above my head for the first time in months. I had almost given up on it. I feel the pain has subsided 30% or more after just one treatment. I’m excited about life again and very much looking forward to experiencing the results of the rest of my treatments! Stem wave! Stem wave!! Stem wave!!! I can’t even begin to tell you how much this has been the key to ending my pain! After 2 back surgeries 7 weeks apart and injections after that due to chronic pain I decided to add this in to my physical therapy routine. In the Seattle airport, I tripped going down an escalator and missed the last step, twisting my leg/knee which made it hurt a lot. I couldn't walk. The next day, my leg was swollen from the top of my toes to above my knee. It had a constant throbbing pain. At first, I thought I needed an MRI, but my daughter, Stephanie, suggested I get an evaluation at Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine on Washington Blvd in North Ogden. Ryan said I sprained a couple ligaments and was sure he could help me. He also suggested a treatment called Stem Wave Therapy. After the first treatment, a day later, I was able to get rid of my crutches. I'm in a 5 week program and I'm astounded at the success. I should be able to walk up stairs normally by the end of the program. I highly recommend this place for injuries that could be helped with physical therapy and the innovative Stem Wave Therapy.

I was wowed! I choose it only because it was the closet thing to us that worked with our new insurance, not knowing anything about them. I was skeptical at first. They took excellent care of my 13 year old daughter who couldn’t walk around the block without pain to someone able to get back into sports and is starting to to run short distances (it’s up to her now to do her exercises at home if she wants to improve). She enjoyed going and they made sure she did the exercises right (and did cheat, or do them sloppy). They coached/corrected her in a friendly loving way. She had zero complaints or comments about any of the staff, in fact, she felt bad she didn’t get to say goodbye to everyone she worked with on her last day. Unlike her experience with another Physical Therapy group. (I didn’t feel like it was a waste of money this time!) The office is clean (chilly for those waiting, but comfortable for those exercising :). The staff is super friendly, willing to help accommodate appointments, answer my dumb questions, and after the first visit greeted us by name. They provided feedback on her progress and met with us periodically to make shared decisions on her plan of care. I LOVE the texting feature! Especially when I’m at work or in school and can’t make calls or answer calls, and I don’t have to sit on hold waiting for a human. They gave us instructions and the tools for my daughter to maintain and continue on her own. I will always go back and recommend them to anyone who asks for a referral.
