This has become my favorite pizza in Wilmington, NC! The sourdough crust is amazing!! The tomato sauce, three cheese blend, and old world pepperoni simply make for an absolutely delicious pizza! We are relatively new to Wilmington and we have tried 4 or 5 other pizza places (some very good, others average), but Wheelz is fantastic.

If you haven’t tried Wheelz Pizza yet, you’re missing out! Their sourdough crust is what really sets them apart—crispy, flavorful, and unlike any other pizza around. The ingredients are always fresh, and every bite is delicious. The convenient Midtown location makes pickup quick and easy, too. Definitely one of my favorite spots for great pizza!

Service was seriously lacking. There were three employees that saw me standing at the register waiting to tell them I was there for pickup and they didn't greet or say anything along the lines of "we'll be with you shortly". Just blank stares.
After about 10 minutes of standing there someone came and asked if I have a pickup order. Their rudeness and attitudes definitely have me considering trying a different location next time.

The pizza was great though. The crust, cheeses, and spices used were all perfect.

I’m from out of town. We come here for a week once a year. Honestly one of the better pizzas I have had. Was a solid 8.8. Zero flop.. the sauce and cheese and pepperoni was great.. plus the give you a cup of marinara for your crust. Nice touch. See you guys in a year.

We always get take out or delivery. Wheelz pizzas are consistently good. Love the crust. Get the toppings you like. We get the pepperoni pizza but add mushrooms. Only “complaint” actually suggestion add more mushrooms for a toppings request. Kind of skimpy. But don’t let the comment deter you. If you are a true pizza lover you definitely should try Wheelz.

The pizza is always on point. It's delicious, pretty, a fair amount of toppings, the crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, the ingredients are either organic or locally sourced, the staff looks happy to be there. It's just great! 10/10 will continue to keep coming back.

Oh! There's a secret to reheating it.... pat the crust with a little water and heat it on a low temp. A baker taught me this. Reheats perfectly.

Ordered online and got a supreme. Price was about the same as any chain place. Store was clean and had a quaint cozy kind of vibe. Food was good, heavy on the cheese though. Crust was very good. Soft but crunchy and not under or over cooked. Was a good option for a night in while on vacation, will keep them in mind next time we come
