I’m a professional artist but I don’t have that crafty woman gene. I decorated my own home and it looked terrible. After working with one interior designer who tried to push her style on me, I found Michele. Michele really listens to my vision and makes it happen. There’s so much that goes into good design, from space and size to colors. She started with our laundry room and then our son’s nursery and later upgraded it to a dinosaur-themed toddler room. She also did our living and dining rooms, office, kitchen, and foyer, and helped me hang all our family photos on one wall. Everything flows beautifully and is in balance. We’re moving into a new home soon and Michele will be there for me.

My family moved from an 1,800-square-foot townhome to an open-plan home more than twice that size. I knew I needed help making sure everything flowed well from one room to another. When it comes to interior design, Michele is a sure thing. Every morning, when I wake up in my beautiful bedroom, I feel so blessed. That’s what good design can do! With shades of mauve and green, a view of the woods outside and lots of natural light, our master bedroom feels like a romantic treehouse. Michele goes above and beyond when it comes to design. She also understands structure and has shown us on many occasions how to best fix everything from floating shelves to drooping curtain rods. Our next project will be finishing the basement.

Right before the pandemic hit, my husband and I moved from New York to Georgia with our ten-year old daughter and seven-year-old son. I wanted to make our new house special—homey but with unique ‘wow!’ factors. When choosing an interior designer, you need to feel comfortable inviting someone into your home. I wanted a professional with a strong worth ethic, patient, easy to talk with and straightforward. Someone highly creative who could take my ideas and elevate them to the next level. Michele was the perfect choice! So far, she’s totally transformed the kids’ rooms. Tiffany’s room is decorated in a Parisian ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ theme, complete with a poster of Audrey Hepburn. When her teacher noticed her background on a Zoom call, she asked for a full virtual tour and that was such a self-esteem boost for her. My son’s navy, green and gray football-themed room, with a light under his bed and a basketball hoop, will grow with him until he leaves for college. Working with Michele has been an adventure and I’m excited to continue with her throughout the rest of the house!

I love my home’s clean and updated style with new furniture and pictures. The white, fluffy rug accents are my favorite. They make me happy whenever I see them.
