This was 2nd surgery on the same leg, problem continued after the first surgery, this time seems better it’s been 8 days since surgery, hopefully it will help me recover and function properly, so far it’s good took time but walking with minimal discomfort

Had my other knee done and still the Greatest staff ever. Everyone of them was pleasant and an absolute joy. Wished I worked there cuz they seem like a close knit family. Dr. Hunter was hilarious, handsome, friendly and the kind of doctor that makes you feel like you are in extremely good hands. Ask him to sing for you. He has a great singing voice, tells hilarious g rated jokes and even dances. My nurse Krystal was incredibly amazing with how she took such good care of me from start to finish as well as a great listener and funny as you know what. And Kevin gave me a great understanding of what was going on with my knees and what they were gonna do. His demeanor was refreshing and he made me feel like a medical expert that I could definitely trust. Every single staff member from the ladies at the front desk (Adriana) to the doctors, nurses and everyone assisting all met me with warm regards, a bright smile and a professional and welcoming embrace. Love this office of people!!!! Id recommend them to everyone I know!!!

I had my initial procedure yesterday 30 August 2023 and it was painless and the staff were fantastic. My only issue was getting my prescription sent to the correct pharmacy on time. Pain to the site or to the knee has been almost none. Looking forward to getting the second knee done.

Taylor was super nice, professional and made sure I was comfortable from beginning to end. Terrell was excellent getting that IV needle in even though my veins were very uncooperative. And Dr. Hunter is a gem. He explained everything and made me feel confident about the whole procedure. During the procedure it ended up that I was able to see it and had the whole team make it an interesting, special, and enjoyable experience. So my knee, being only one day out, seems to be feeling better. I can't recommend the Vascular Institute any higher.

I have been having pain in my left knee at intervals for several years. I've tried PT, cortisone and gel shots with some success but I know the pain will return and I'm not quite ready for total knee surgery and the time it takes to rehab and recover. I have "bone on bone" so I'm a candidate for GAE ( Genicular Artery Embolization). The treatment takes only a day with very little recovery and studies are finding that it decreases pain and inflammation for 2 or more years in most cases. Kate was the NP I saw for an intitial consultation and she was phenominal. She explained the procedure in detail, answered all of my questions and left a date, time open ended so that I could have time to decide when or if I was going to have this done. I am confident that I will be contacting them again after I complete some travel I have already booked ( and hoping that the gel shot I received in May is still working until then).
