Excellant service from the beginning to end of the project.
Prompt service from the time I called about the water leak. Louis was very professional and setting up the containment and mitigation. Installing the protection for demolition of the bathroom slab to repair the leaking sewer line. Beau did all of the restoration. Repaired damaged sheetrock, painting and replaced built in vanity. Communiation with the office manager was prompt and professional. A good experience with all of the workers that was involved with the restoration.

I had a pipe burst in my slab that affected five areas of my house. At that point I had not heard of United Fire and Water, and I started out with a different company for the drying out process. I knew things weren’t being addressed correctly and my plumber (Thank you Seth S!) suggested I call United Fire and Water and I am so thankful that I did. Oh the difference was stark! The entire crew is awesome! From Kevin who arrived first to assess the situation (so knowledgeable, professional and friendly) to April in the office (also super friendly and always timely with documents, etc and so helpful in answering questions) to Beau Shamburger who guided me through the rebuild process with so much grace, knowledge and patience. He always explained to me exactly what was going on and kept me up-to-date on all aspects of the progress. His communication skills are excellent and he directed and executed this entire production so well. He went above and beyond in his efforts with my insurance company too which is such an important part of this process. My rebuild is done now and looks fantastic! United Fire and Water will always have my business.

I appreciate this company moving so quickly to come out and give a free inspection the next morning! Jeremy was awesome! He used high tech gadgets to see through my cabinets and walls to determine if my plumbing leak had caused mold growth, as well as determining if I still have wetness inside the walls that could lead to mold. It took him about 10 minutes to put my mind at ease and let me know that I have nothing to worry about! I can now carry on without stressing over the possibility of water damage. Had I not gotten this free and simple inspection, I would have continued to have that fear in the back of my mind. Your house is one of your biggest investments! So protect it! United Fire & Water are amazing. In my opinion.... the best in their field. Super knowledgeable, amazingly organized, and round the clock work to get our building completed. These guys at DKI are amazing! We had a leak from the attic(water heater) water got into the carpet and in bedroom below. We called and got a response time of 1 hour! Unbelievably fast to arrive. A team of 6 showed up and removed all water from the carpet and tile floors. I Would highly recommend this company to anyone requiring there services.

United Fire and Water was a life saver when our AC coil froze and leaked. They performed mold remediation, rebuilt a closet for rhe replacement AC duct work and hot water heater, and replaced damaged sheet rock. Everyone (painter, remediation specialists, project supervisors, administrators) who touched our project was always on time and professional. The sheetrock repair looks outstanding. You can’t tell where the old sheet rock starts and the new begins. This company was also a huge support during the stress of getting the water damage cleaned up. I highly recommend United Fire and Water.

We had two houses flooded on May 17th, 2021. Tom and his crew did a great cleanup job. Tom always quickly responded to our calls and texts. Most important of all is DKI company went through details about damage and restoration with our insurance company professionally and that saved us lots of hassle. We used another well-known remediation "pro" after recent flooding in Baton Rouge. They gave us poor advice on what required demo and assured us that all of our rooms were dry before removing their drying equipment. After discussing our situation with United Fire & Water, they came to our home and showed us where multiple rooms were still damp. They took the time to explain standard demo and drying procedures, where we had been given little or poor advice from the other company. After their visit, we pressed the other company to come back (since we had paid them in full already). They sent a new technician who reluctantly took additional moisture readings and admitted that our home was not dry. To this day they haven't come back or contacted us to ensure that our home was dry. We sincerely appreciate the United Fire and Water team coming out and alerting us to the fact that there were issues. They were knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Should we or anyone we know ever be in need of a remediation contractor again, then they will have our business or recommendation.

To group with United Fire & Water went above and beyond to fix and finish everything we wanted. First of all they were the last company I contacted but the first company to come. While I had 2 scheduled meetings for quotes be rescheduled by 2 other companies, I got in touch with Sean and Rolf the Friday morning before Hurricane Barry hit and they were at my house 1 hour later. As the work proceeded, we continued to want to add more and more into the project. Whether it was roofing, support beams, painting, electrical, new construction, and touching up, etc they were fully capable of performing the job. A great soup to nuts company. I would thoroughly recommend them for a big project.

Last year I purchased a home and didn’t know all the water damage the home had. A very large insurance claim. However I called United Fire and Water Damage they came out and inspected my home and found the problem. After working with them and the insurance company - I allowed United fire & Water to do the complete remodel of my home and let me tell you what a wonderful job they did. I had to work so I had to trust these them to do my home and do it right. Let me tell you - the customer service I received - they treated me like family.
