It’s rare that I feel compelled to leave a review for a company but we were truly blown away by the quality of service, thoughtfulness, and professionalism of the hardwood giant. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. We’ve had a pretty hard time finding contractors and tradesmen that are reliable, communicate well, and show care in their work - this experience checked all the boxes and then some. Phillip was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and very responsive. If you’re looking to get your floors refinished or new ones put in, I’d highly recommend you go with this company. We got new hardwoods woven into old hardwoods (white oak) and had the entire upstairs, downstairs, and stair treads refinished. Looks great and only took a week to do.

Phil and his crew did a beautiful job of sanding and restaining our floors. In addition, we had a floor heat vent moved and the hole had to be repaired. They did such a great job that you can’t tell where the hole was. We had the entire downstairs done and it all looks brand new. They did the job while we were away. We came home to a clean and beautiful home. They are trustworthy terrific guys and I recommend them 100%.

We found The Hardwood Giant through an internet search. We read a few great reviews and decided to contact them (Phil). Working with him was seamless. He came to our home to provide an estimate for replacing carpeting in two bedrooms with hardwood, and replacing tile in the laundry room with LVL. He turned around an estimate the next day, and brought us samples for the LVL a couple of days later. Phil was able to schedule the work a week later, and the floors came out better than we could have hoped. Phil's team was able to match the existing hardwood floor, in plank size and stain. The LVL also looks fantastic in our laundry room. We highly recommend The Hardwood Giant!

The Hardwood Giant did a fantastic job installing my LVP floors! They tracked down the exact floors/product I wanted, even though they were not part of the initial discussion. We ended up having a lot of issues with getting the old floors up but Phil and his team never gave up. They did everything possible (including long hours and weekend work) to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction and in a reasonable amount of time. They use high quality materials and are always on time. The installation team works like a fine tuned machine, if any problems are encountered they just don't come to you with the problem but also with solution choices for the problem. The owner or his representative is on site everyday to insure things are going well. The price is reasonable for the quality of workmanship and material used.

I recommend this company to anyone looking to get hardwoods installed into their home. Phil was on time for all appointments, sent out our estimate in a timely manner and we were able to schedule our project within days. Phil had his crew out at our house at the agreed time and the job was completed same day just as Phil quoted. My floors are absolutely beautiful and almost an exact match to our existing hardwoods. The total cost of this project was very reasonable and cheaper than other companies quoted. I cannot say enough good things about this company!!

Whether you're resurfacing pre-existing floors, and or adding new, flooring work is a huge monetary investment. With that said, it's important that you find a service provider who is transparent, dependable, provides a high quality product, and most importantly has integrity. Phillip and his team met the mark in all of these areas, which made for a smooth and enjoyable experience when having the flooring in our home overhauled. We resurfaced all of the existing floors, and added about 1,500 square feet of new raw wood. Phillip and his team did a phenomenal job resurfacing, tying in the new wood, and helping us select a stain which met our goals for the aesthetic of the home. If you're in Charlotte, and the surrounding region, I strongly urge you to consider The Hardwood Giant.

We had water damage and had to replace our entire downstairs floor. Phil came out and gave a really competitive estimate. His team came out and were able to fully replace our floors in just 3 days including tear out. They stayed later the 3rd day so we could get it all wrapped up and get full use of our floors. I would definitely recommend Hardwood Giant.

Hardware Giant sanded my existing hardwoods and installed some new as well where previously was carpet. They did an amazing job. Better than that a new dog did some damage and they returned and repaired as well the dog damage. They do a fantastic job. Real pros! Highly recommend. They did a waterbase so no oil smell and better than that, we think holds up better

Our family really enjoyed working with the owner and his team. The results of the floor speak for themselves, they look amazing.

One of the most important pieces of this process is selected the correct stain color. It was great to have ideas, but the owner and his team sanded off parts of the floor and truly took their time and found the exact color we were looking for. We ended up doing a 50/50 mix and everyone was incredibly patient while we made the huge decision and worked through the options.

Refinishing your floors is a great option instead of replacing if yours floors have that ability and Hardwood Giant will make the process a great one for you!
