It's been maybe a month since we installed our solar panels (no battery). From meeting Riley for the first time to get an estimate and continuing through multiple emails and calls with questions and changes until we signed or agreement, Sunline (Riley) exceeded expectations. I was not actually surprised as one would think you'd have stellar performance at the early "selling" stage but then I experienced two other companies who fell way short.

I did not expect the further exemplary work once the contract was signed. Sunline kept in constant communication in regard to removing existing pool solar, updating roofing paper and eventually, installation of the panels themselves including associated equipment. Sunline held true to their estimate and the material promised. All of the employees I encountered were very courteous and professional. I was further impressed by Riley throughout the process as he stayed involved and answered questions all the way through questions about the monitoring app. A shout out to Iris as well. She was very helpful in resolving confusion and some minor issues that arose.

All in all, I am very pleased with Sunline and would recommend them. They did an extraordinary job!

Very happy with these guys. They came up to North Orange County from San Diego. They were honest, professional, communicative, do good quality work and were fair. No issues. Would definitely recommend for a solar install.

Once they got all the permits and started it went very smoothly and they said they were going to be there between 730 and eight they were there at 7:30 they also have excellent communication. Keep me informed every step of the way very happy thanks.

Industry best IMO from sales all the way to permission to operate. I think I had to provide one thing regarding inspection the entire time and it was simply a picture of my electrical panel. A+ company. They're reasonably priced as only one other company beat their estimate. As much as I would love to have supported other local company, going with a bigger company puts my mind at ease regarding possibly issues I may encounter years down the road.

Our experience with Sunline was great. Matt was very thorough and patient walking us through all of the component options available to us. The team kept us updated as all the different phases moved along. When install day came along, the installers were professional and friendly. All in all the process was very smooth.

On the part of Sunline, the whole process was quick and effidient ( the ineffidient part was on the city of course). I chose them based on their reviews and I was not disappointed. The account advisor was professional and very knowledgeable. I was kept informed at every phase of the project. The installation team had everything done when they said it would be. And the price was right. I will not hesitate to recommend Sunline to my family and friends.

We were really happy with the work and service level we got from sunline. We did a lot of research on solar companies and have been in touch with around 10 other companies and at the end, we choose to go with sunline because they had the best quality solar panels and the service was great. We also upgrade our electrical panel board so it was quite an extensive work. Matt was really great in explaining all the options and was quick to respond with any questions. All the installation team did a great job as well (specifically Manny and team #5 who did the installation). The only reason I'm not giving a 5-star review is because we did have some hold up with get the city approval and we feel like suniline were not aggressive enough in solving the problems. Also, we did end up settling on different panels than the ones we initially wanted because the ones we wanted were out of stock but sunline did provide other alternatives quite quickly.

Nothing but positive things to say about Sunline. From the initial sales meeting to the ultimate installation, Sunline was professional all the way. They kept in good communication to keep us informed of the status as it moved through the various stages. I would highly recommend them.

Jessie and Javii were my technical team for solar panels inspections and installations. They are friendly and experienced! It took least than a day to complete the installation and got us hooked up with permits, permits, and warranty. Iris also did everything she can to coordinate work orders and completed all the administrative tasks. It took about 2 months from start to permit to operate. There was a little hiccup during inspection. The first inspection did not pass because the inspector is kinda picky on the ground wire location. Jessie came back within a couple days and used their best judgment and professional knowledge to locate the original hidden L shape ground wire and got us a quickly turn around on the second inspection without making a big mess in the walls. We appreciate their great work and efforts to make this process as smoothly as possible! Sunline would earn 5 stars if their sales rep could follow through with us until the end. Unfortunately, after many calls from myself, I basically gave up on calling. It has been weeks, I have not heard back from my sales rep and give me a quote or information about my requested additional electric sub-panel installation service.

These guys were absolutely as professional as they can get! They kept me updated throughout the entire process of obtaining permits, inspections, installation, and getting on the grid. One of their workers always got back to me the same day when I had questions. Since my roof was somewhat old, I had them complete my roofing as well during the same project. Their team did a stand-up job, and their quotes were competitive with other offers that I received. They were always responsive with my concerns. The only issue I had was that they were backed up by several months to get my project started, which meant one more summer of paying high electricity bills before the solar was installed. I'm not sure I can even blame Sunline, as I'm not sure how much of that was just holdup from the permit process. Overall, great experience with Sunline. Would use them again a hundred times over.

From start to finish they were outstanding. On time and within the quote that they provided.
A few weeks after the install and activation, we had a glitch with the reporting system. They were responsive and fixed the issue in a timely manner.

I have been impressed with Sunline Energy from start to finish. I set up an appointment for an estimate and Matthew sat down with me in June and went over all options. He was knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and questions. I signed a contract and made a deposit.

Liz was the project manager who made sure everything was scheduled, including surveys installation and inspection. Liz scheduled us for installation in August but got our project going even earlier when an unexpected vacancy came up on Sunline's installation schedule.

Mike was the final person who brought the project to final completion ahead of schedule. There was an unexpected glitch in the San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) inspection and approval process. Mike not only got everything corrected, but he also got the final permission to operate our Solar Power System from San Diego Gas & Electric days earlier than expected!

I tried to work with a different Solar Power Company before turning to Sunline. The other company quoted a higher price for fewer solar panels and warned about probable added expenses once the project was in progress. I signed a contract, put down a deposit, and then that company stopped answering my emails, texts, and phone calls. I fired them and got my deposit back. That was a blessing in disguise. Sunline installed more solar panels for a significantly lower price than quoted by the other company. Sunline always answered all my communications quickly. There were no unexpected expenses. The price quoted stayed the same from start to finish. I am incredibly pleased with Sunline Energy.

Months later the system is working fine and saving me a lot of money!

This is our second system with Sunline Energy. We recently completed our custom dream home and we chose Sunline based on our first experience with them. They of course went above and beyond and exceeded all my expectations. Even dealing with challenging contractors and unrealistic time lines they made it work. Service and their prices are second to none. Thanks again for the awesome work.

We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Sunline. From our first contact to get an estimate to completion of the installation process Sunline did exactly what they said they would do and were on time or ahead of schedule with all aspects of the project.

Riley Wiggins was our initial contact, he provided us with an estimate which was right in line with the estimates that we got from two other companies. He responded quickly and with a very positive attitude any time we called with a question or concern.

Team 1, who did our installation were great. They arrived on time, explained everything they were going to do and kept us advised during the entire installation process. When they finished they cleaned up carefully, explained how the inspection and final connection process would be completed. Can't say enough good things about these guys.

We had a problem with one panel, I called and explained the problem and a technician was out the next day and quickly fixed the panel. We have had the system in place for 3 months and it performs just as was promised.

We would not hesitate to recommend Sunline to anyone who is considering a solar installation.

Sunline is completing an electric panel replacement, new roof and solar panels for us. So far, we have had the roof work completed. My goodness - Jordan Smith and his team are fast and efficient. 10 months in and our installation is trouble free and working as advertised. I believe we're on track to hit the annual electricity generation that they'd estimated. I would consider using them again if I install a power wall.

I heard about Sunline Energy from multiple colleagues who had nothing but great things to say about their experiences with them. Everything I heard turned out to be 100% true! From consultation to installation to flicking the "ON" switch, the Sunline experience was incredibly smooth and pain free. Our process started in February 2022 and ended in April. Eric was my initial consultant. He was prompt, courteous, and explained all the options for our home in detail. He was not pushy or aggressive with sales tactics and was happy to leave and let me mull over the options at my own pace. After signing our contract, the entire process was laid out from start to finish, and everything happened on time as predicted. I have happily recommended this company to multiple friends and colleagues who have since used them for their solar needs as well and have provided nothing but positive feedback.

One of the best quotes, great communication, very fast permitting with the city, top notch installation. Phone app makes monitoring system a breeze. Definitely go for backup battery(s). I have two and my batteries give me full house power until after midnight on most days

The Sunline team executed the technical aspect of the job with a great level of attention to detail. I'm usually disappointed by the level of detail and care by other contractors that take the fast and cheap methods. But Sunline did an outstanding job which exceeded my high level of requirements and expectations. Great job here.

The job took awhile due to scheduling and the amount of backlog. But the wait was worth it.

If there is anything that could be improved, I would suggest improving the level of communication during the process and during finishing punch list items. Especially when there is a long wait from jobs in backlog queue. It's rare to have too much communication. :)

6 months later, and still running flawlessly. Electric bills are less than $25 a month. We did find out that if you keep your monthly auto payment going, your solar bill gets paid as well, monthly. It will not skip monthly payments, and subsequently "true up" at the end of 12 months, as the normal process is. But, we don't mind paying a small amount per month.

So, yes. We completely recommend Sunline Energy. Just be knowledgeable abt the whole California Solar laws at the time of your consideration. Things may change from year to year.

Now, if the damn natural gas rates can lower to normal levels......

Very happy with the project. Had 16 panels and a new electrical panel installed. Been about 5 months now and everything is working fine. Electricity bill has been virtually eliminated. The price was competitive and no surprise extra charges. Did everything they said they would at the quoted price. They gave a realistic time line since much of the process of getting the permits is out of their control. SDG&E loses a paying customer so they drag out the process as long as possible. But in the end very pleased with Sunline and the installation.

You cannot go wrong with these guys.

They are experts on both roofing and solar and they do both really well.
They were the only one that was willing to come out and take a look at the roof that no other solar vendor wanted to put panels on.
The reason for that was the 'light weight concrete' tiles that we thought were on the roof and which seem to be a problem to put panels on. Being roofers they recognized the tiles immediately and they had no issues with putting panels on those tiles.

The city inspectors can be very picky when inspecting a solar installation, so Sunline has a special team which prechecks their solar installations so that they will pass the first time around. In our case those guys caught a couple of minor issues which they resolved on the spot.
We passed inspection without any issues.

In short, these guys are reliable, easy to work with, super friendly, knowledgeable and really good at what they are doing.

Next year we'll add some batteries and the year after more solar panels and I want Sunline to do those.

Our experience with Sunline Energy was an amazing from the beginning till the end. Our Consultant Eric came out and met with us and went over the process and gave us a timeline.

Liz our Project Manager was there to help with any questions.

The permit process was seem less and smooth.

The installation process went smoothly as well.

The price was well in our budget and less than other quotes that we received.

I spent several weeks getting quotes from local solar companies about a solar system for my home. I can say that Sunline was by far the most complete in their assessment of my project and offered me several choices that really fit my needs. Their pricing is very competitive also. Matthew provided me with all of the details I was after and educated me on the technologies involved in home solar systems. He was great to work with from start to finish and I felt like I was getting very honest and accurate answers. During the project, the entire Sunline team was very professional and the installation experience was a good one - no surprises and completed on the timeline I was given.

My system has been in place for about four months now and is performing better than expected. I've been told by people that have seen my panels and power runs up close that it looks like one of the most solid and clean installs they have seen. Very happy with my system and I have no problem recommending Sunline to my friends + others.

The experience with sunline energy was great. Working with Chris and Liz from beginning to end. We do understand the business side and shortage of panel etc. we resolve the issue quick and started the installation.

TEAM #1 was the team that came and install at our property. They were excellent and professional. Question that needed answer were answer and they know what their are doing. From preparation to end clean up was right on the spot.

Overall happy with this purchase and installation. 2 day project. Now awaiting for inspection.

Highly recommend.

By far the best company we have dealt
Within regards to our home. From the very first appointment until our solar project was completed, Sunline representatives were responsive in every manner we could've hoped for. Any questions we had were answered in a very timely manner and our project manager was phenomenal. The project was organized so that as soon as one step was completed, the next one began. We would highly recommend Sunline to anyone looking for solar as we have for neighbors who have now also used Sunline for their solar needs.

We did substantial research before deciding on Sunline, including inviting multiple bids. In sum, Sunline provided the best price, and their roof guarantee (we had them do the roof as well) was by far superior to everyone else's. Eric Gerza was our salesperson, and he was excellent.

There were two small glitches that were taken care of immediately. First, the panels I ordered originally were no longer available by installation time, thanks to supply chain issues. They were replaced with a slightly less powerful panel, and they made up the difference by adding two more. In the end, I got a slightly more powerful system, and at the same price. Second, there was a software problem with reporting that made it seem I wasn't generating enough power. After I called to report it, Eric called me back quickly to say that it was resolved, and indeed, it was.

So all told, I strongly recommend Sunline. Great service, nice people, low prices. What more can you want?

Sunline and Eric did a fantastic job. We had a few minor glitches with last minute supply chain issues and needed to change panel size slightly prior to install but the team made it right for us and in the end our overall system was slightly more productive. The install crew did a really professional job. Answered my thousands of questions. Prior to going with Sunline I had two bids from other companies that solicited with door to door sales. Sunline came in at a more affordable price with better quality panels. Thanks sunline!
