I was very happy with the radon Mitigation installation. I think the guys did a good job. So far, we are getting really low radon readings. My only minor complaint is that the fan is a little noisier than I was hoping for. However, the guy said that it is guaranteed for five years, and that they would replace it for free if there is any problem.

So happy we had St. Louis Radon come out and put covers on our sump pumps. We were able to get answers to many questions because the staff is so knowledgeable! It’s so important to mitigate high radon levels/exposure and we highly recommend giving St. Louis Radon a call! We own a brick home in St. Louis built in 1908 with the original stone foundation and had a number of concerns when we engaged St. Louis Radon to mitigate our basement radon issue: could they design a solution that reduced the level of radon to acceptable levels given the condition of our basement floor and stone walls? Would the solution stand out like a sore thumb on the exterior wall of our 3 story house in such a beautiful old neighborhood with tree lined streets? Would the pipe runs in the basement get in the way of our laundry, home gym and workshop areas further reducing the headroom or taking up valuable floor space? On all 3 concerns we are extremely satisfied. The exterior vertical run required going through 3 courses of brick over a hundred years old to reach the outside wall of the building where there is a mature hedge owned by our neighbor right in the way of where the fan was installed and a ladder had to be placed for the vertical pipe install up beyond the roof line. So the piping and fan work was not easy for them while minimizing the pruning of the neighbor’s hedge and working in such a confined space both inside and out. But by placing it there the whole system almost disappears for anyone outside the basement (we will probably paint the pipe black to match our gutters next time we paint exterior trim and the fan just disappears behind the hedge). On the basement laundry room area the solution just blends in along with our existing plumbing stack taking up no additional floor or overhead space. They were quick to provide an online quote and estimated install date, prompt on arrival on both day of install and day to pickup test equipment and provided fast formal results next business day. We are so happy that our problem is resolved and would be glad to work with any member of their team again in the future whether this house or any other we own in the St. Louis area: highly recommend!
