They were here on time and did excellent work. They left my basement cleaner than it was when they arrived. All the equipment was well placed and looked amazing after completion. It was very evident that they take pride in their work which is hard to find these days. It’s hard to find contractors these days for any kind of work. I would recommend them a hundred times over!

John and Ben did a very good job installing the radon mitigation system. They were on time, courteous, and were done within 4 hours of arrival. John explained the process and gave us information regarding about how the system worked and that it should work even with the basement waterproofing that we had recently had done. I had previously purchased a radon monitor online and had been tracking the radon levels in our basement for 4 weeks prior to the installation so that I could determine if the mitigation had an impact. The device I purchased reflected the same levels that were found when we had a professional service do radon testing when we bought the home 2 months ago, so I believe that the monitor works as it should. Within 44 hours of turning on the fan, our level went from 16+ down to 1.01. So I believe that the mitigation is working as it should be. My only advise is to do a measurable amount of consideration about the location of the fan and size of fan. We decided on a larger fan due to the levels of radon that had been detected and due to the type of waterproofing that we had done. As it was, the fan was installed in the corner of the basement just outside of the master bedroom and the sound level is just a bit more than we expected. I now wonder if the pipe to the outside should have been done by drilling a hole in the foundation wall rather that the joist on top of the foundation wall (that is the way our sump pump is installed). My thought is that part of the sound might be due to vibration on wood rather than concrete. I recommend this business for your radon needs, but make sure you take these kinds of things into account before installation.

St. Louis Radon was great - did an excellent job, and when we found out we had asbestos elsewhere, we began to test the whole house. St. Louis Radon quickly responded and let us know they hadn’t drilled through the suspect material. We wound up being clear, but it was a relief to know they did such a great job AND were careful and responsive. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I cannot say enough about how happy I was with St Louis Radon. Michelle was always responsive in her emails and I applaud her for her patience in dealing with me until I was ready to pull the trigger. I was so pleased with the entire process of having our system installed. The installers showed up right on time and were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They worked diligently for over five hours to install the system and explained to me all the steps they were taking. They left an electronic radon test meter behind which was picked up a few days later. The results were far below the allowable levels which means the system is very effective. I highly recommend St. Louis Radon!

Once the system was installed my radon levels dropped to near zero and pretty much stay there. I bought my own monitor and have been checking it daily for a couple of months. Quick response to e-mails, schedule was 4-6 weeks out but not unexpected. The installer showed up on time and talked about the process and how the install will go then got to work. He did a decent job, mostly cleaned up after himself, and then went through the information needed to ensure the system is running. The testing after install showed almost no radon and before mitigation it was 4 times the recommended level. I am happy with the installation and service!

Customer service was great got my appointment moved up 2 months because they had some availability.
