Everything was so easy and everybody was SO kind. I really wanted to speak with somebody fast and there was immediate availability. I was able to book an appointment with a provider based on his profile on the website which I found reassuring.
The online platform was extremely easy to understand and to use, including how to launch the tele-health session. Email reminders and tips were very helpful but not overwhelming (no avalanche of reminders.)
The psychiatrist (Dr Nagel) I spoke with was extremely patient and really LISTENED. I was a bit all over the place and agitated but he kept asking a few pointed questions here and there, taking lots of notes. His calm demeanor in itself was so reassuring but so were his feedback and advice.
We discussed the possibility of medication but Dr Nagel didn't push for it, letting me take the lead, waiting patiently for me to go through my own thinking process out loud. I ended up asking for a prescription, which he provided at the lowest dose possible. I tried it but ended up not continuing which he was totally fine with at the next follow up appointment.
I can't say enough good things about the quality of the care that I received from my doctor at Skypiatrist. He is a real person, a real human being, in addition to his expertise.

Experienced, board certified psychiatrists utilizing the ability to visit and speak with patients at a time and place of their choosing, through video chat. I have been seeing my psychiatrist on Skypiatrist for almost 3 years now, after my former psychiatric care provider moved to FL during COVID. Leaving me with only a 5 minute monthly phone call, and relying on the USPS to deliver the paper prescriptions my doctor wrote, because he was old and did not want to switch to the automated, online prescription system, which would've saved him time and me the aggravation of not receiving prescriptions on time, and sometimes not at all. It was horrible. When I found Skypiatrist, I was skeptical. However, once I met with my doctor I felt so much better and more confident in the care I was being provided. Plus, if you do not have a separate talk therapist, they have a number of options through their service, which helps because then your two mental health care providers can see each other's notes and set a course of treatment accordingly. I cannot emphasize the ease of use, professionalism and knowledge of the providers, and their genuine care for your well-being. I hope I never have to move on from Skypiatrist, because I know I would not receive the same level care I do currently. Give them a try...It will be the best decision you have ever made. I know it was for me.

The process to register an appointment is super easy, esp after they upgraded their website. The virtual meeting setup is easy, just open your browser! Provider (Dr. Pan) is extremely caring! It took me forever to find a doctor that had availability in the city. And the ones that did have availability did not listen to me. I am so glad that I found Dr. Pursaud through Skypiatrist. She listened to me and really helped me make the right decisions on what meds work for me. It’s so convenient to be able to meet via telemedicine because like others, I’m a busy bee.

My first appointment with Dr. Persaud went very smoothly. She actively listened to what I was saying and my concerns and was able to accommodate and work out an appropriate medication route. I was worried after changing insurance carriers it would take me a long time to find a new psychiatrist but I got an appointment in under a week. I highly recommend Skypiatrist. My insurance changed at the beginning of the year so I had to find a new psychiatrist. Aurora in kenosha said there was 9-12 month wait!
