I came for a drop in from Edmonton. I was charged $20 for a drop in which seems a little much on its own. The machines and facility itself are a little dated. The bathroom wasn’t super clean. Other than that everything was alright. Got my workout in and left

The staff are incredibly professional and welcoming. They genuinely care about members and are always ready to help with tips, adjustments, or just a friendly conversation that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is motivating without being intimidating, which makes it a great place for beginners as well as and comfortable. It’s clear that management puts a lot of effort into keeping the quality high.

I’ve been training at Shapes Westwood for the past two years, coming in 2–3 times a week, and it’s been such a positive part of my routine and overall well-being. The gym has a welcoming, supportive atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to my trainer, Inna, who is truly amazing. She’s knowledgeable, motivating, and attentive to both form and progress. Inna knows how to push me in the right ways while keeping workouts fun and effective, and she’s been a huge part of helping me stay consistent and strong. If you’re looking for a gym with great energy and incredible trainers/classes, I highly recommend Shapes Westwood.

I got a great deal on an annual membership from Michelle. She went over all my options and answered all my questions without making me feel pressured into buying anything additional. I just moved to Westwood and decided to check out Shapes as it is very close to my home. I walked in to take a tour and gather information, not expecting to sign up. I was greeted at the front desk by Megan, and immediately felt welcome. After a tour of the clean and bright facility, and information about a potential membership, I decided to enrol on the spot. I have been working out at home since Covid, and wanted to get back to using more equipment. Shapes appears to be the perfect fit with a variety of options from free weights, cable machines, and fitness classes to suit anyone’s goals. Megan sold me in a matter of minutes with her friendly and professional demeanour. Looking forward to becoming a part of this fitness community!
