Guy messes up the estimate then revised it. The revised estimate was fair compared to other contractors. I checked the fine print and they have slipped in a statement that the homeowner reimburses for permit fees.Then when I called to sign on .The woman can't find my name or bid. I got frustrated before the job even started.. For that reasons I'm out. Went w another local contractor.
I'm adding a note to my review.
The owner did respond to this review . He was very heartfelt concerned and apologetic for the breakdown in communication.
He has promised to follow up with his staff. In the interest of being fair I'm changing to 5 stars.

Rock N Block performed an excellent job and worked through ALL the HOA roadblocks. Al and Eric both spent their personal time for obtaining an HOA ARC approval. They both kept me informed and updated (a delay that lasted almost six months). Once the HOA ARC was approved, the job was completed within one day and looks fantastic! As a veteran, I highly recommend Rock N Block for any artificial turf and/or landscaping project!
