During my time at Roaring Brook, I built friendships, learned more about myself than I ever knew, healed parts of myself I didn’t know were broken, and developed a community of people to surround myself with upon completing the program. The staff here are all dedicated to helping others who struggle with addiction. They all have big hearts and help their clients more than they may ever know.

I am very GRATEFUL for ROARING BROOK RECOVERY . Roaring Brook made it possible for me to reconnect with my children and family . I have the opportunity to be present as a Mother , daughter and a better life partner today. I have learned to be present in my own life clean , clear and free of stress and anxiety . Roaring Brook has help me learn to be humble and give back the knowledge of helping others while learning to show up for myself. If you are Ready to learn yourself by facing yourself then I recommend this facility. Great Staff and Great results and a better way of a sober free life is what I was able to carry with me when I graduated this program . Love for all the Staff team at ROARING BROOK RECOVERY for a better life.

Roaring Brook is a top notch facility. I started my journey there in late April of 2023 and was very reluctant and hesitant at first. Roaring Brook is very unique in that their highly educated, empathetic and knowledgeable staff has been where you may currently be. Their backgrounds aren’t strictly academic, they bring their own experiences coupled with their education to provide first class help. Their phased plan approach with hands on group and individual sessions guide patients to achieve their own successes. The assignments Roaring Brook has created as a part of their overall program helps patients to realize what their core problems are and how to successfully address them now and for the future. Roaring Brook is truly focused on helping people who suffer from substance issues and I would highly recommend them based on the experience I have had there.

I’ve been to a few rehabs in my life, but none of them compare to Roaring Brook. The staff is genuine and actually cares about your well being. The men in the group develop a bond over time and do their best to help each other succeed in their sobriety. I was unaware that I was on the wrong medication for years until they put me on the right ones. I have a sponsor now and have gotten to know a lot of great people in the AA community because of my 3 meetings a week requirement. Roaring Brook has changed my life and I am forever indebted to everyone who works there.

Roaring Brook is the best facility that I have ever been a part of the program their is wonderful.and the staff and I mean all the staff are caring and committed to my recovery it's amazing when every time you walk in everyone knows your name and greets you with a smile would recommend this place to anyone seeking recovery.

A true place for recovery. What makes this place a destination for help is it's people. The staff, counselors, and therapists at Roaring Brook all understand recovery from either first hand experience, higher learning and most often both. I have found in my experience that addiction was and is a cycle that could not be broken by myself alone. Roaring Brook provided the grounds for me to understand recovery on terms I could finally accept and showed me practical application in my life. I have benifited greatly from the services provided, but maybe even more so, I see the changes that have affected all that surround me. Truly grateful to not be alone any more.

It was the best place for me.. Too see the change growth in myself and truly accept the help and what the help.. Everyone becomes your family and everyone wants nothing but the best for you .. it's does not end when you leave there are always there and willing too help however the can..

Wasn’t really to excited to start at Roaring Brook, but once I began treatment, set aside my preconceived ideas, and started to embrace the program I have found it to be a blessing. Wonderful and knowledgeable staff who care for everyone and have a passion for those recovering. I feel very satisfied with the program, and I feel blessed to have made relationships and get to know the staff at Roaring Brook. Amazing program overall!

Roaring Brook has played an instrumental part in my recovery. I look forward to the weekly group sessions. I often have things going on that I can share with other Alcoholics that can relate. It’s a safe environment with staff members I trust, that have my personal well being at their forefront. I always leave learning something, and leave feeling much better than I did walking it. I owe so much to Roaring Brook and the entire staff. I plan on joining the Alumni group once I graduate the program soon.

I cannot speak more highly of the individuals working in Roaring Brook’s program. These folks are genuine in the care and effort they put forth to provide clients with a safe, encouraging, and empowering environment for growth and freedom from addiction/alcoholism. Their program puts an emphasis on addressing mental health with a multitude of therapeutic treatment options, which, in my opinion is unmatched. My experience at Roaring Brook has provided me with mentors that guide with compassion and understanding, fellowship with peers, and a safe place to explore the core of my alcoholism.
Hats off to Roaring Brook’s staff! I am forever grateful for the impact that you have had on my journey with recovery.

I truly adore this program and the staff, and I always will. The therapists and peer support who lead the groups in Intensive-OutPatient are all equally as amazing and all bring something different to the table. I’ve been through this program twice and I’ve recommended it to all of my friends who are trying to get into recovery. I can't say enough about this place. The facility and the staff here are second to none. I was at a completely hopeless place personally when I found Roaring Brook. They restored my faith in myself and gave me the tools to recover and start my journey. Every single person here cares about you. I knew that from my very first conversation with the clinical director. I felt that care in every interaction with every staff member. They treat you with respect and dignity. They create a safe space where you can work through the issues you face with their professional guidance. I will be forever grateful to Roaring Brook and it's staff. This place changed my life.

I am currently a client in the intensive outpatient program at Roaring Brook. After a couple of recent hospitalizations an addiction team specialist recommended that I consider an IOP in Lexington and I liked that the regular Roaring Brook program is spread over a longer period of time three days a week for approximately four months. I have been in inpatient treatment in the past, but I have struggled staying clean and sober. The combination of group meetings at Roaring Brook plus AA meetings is helping me…a lot. I can’t believe how many professionals are on my care team. Each week I have direct contact for group plus multiple individual counseling sessions which are helping me in ways other programs I have tried in the past didn’t. I have great gratitude for the Roaring Brook team and would recommend them to anyone looking for help dealing with addiction and substance use issues. I have found peace and serenity here that I can take with me into everyday living and it all helps add up to a joy in living I thought I could never get back…and actually it’s a better more authentic life than I’ve ever had!

As someone who’s battled the disease of alcoholism over the years, I’ve experienced many programs in various parts of the country. Roaring Brook stands out with an exceptional program as well as a skilled staff. The treatment team at Roaring Brook goes above and beyond in terms of serious recovery and sincere compassion. Not only is the disease of addiction addressed, the ability to live a fulfilling and meaningful life is as well. I truly look forward to carrying the skills and gifts I’ve received at Roaring Brook long into my future. There is hope for anyone who take the first step toward a better life!!! Recovery is a unique journey for the individual sufferer, but it can’t be done alone. It takes a village. Roaring Brook is my village. Simply put, I wouldn’t be alive today if it wasn’t for their (sometimes tough) love, their respect, kindness, and the sense of belonging I was shown. This place is amazing, truly. The staff is amazing and helped me in so many ways with my recovery. I came in broken and defeated with walls up so high I thought no one would get threw, and they patiently start knocking bricks off and helping me to be a better person. I graduated from their program with a sense of pride and outlook in my life. I’d like to thank jarrod for being such a patient and moving therapist. To Allison for showing so much love and kindness and amazing bear hugs. I wish that there was more than just 5 stars cause Carl Quick is a 10!! He is top notch! He picked me up when I fell off my bike once and I will never forget it how he helped me in that moment of vulnerability. He didn’t even laugh! He immediately came to my rescue - ready to help. I am a veteran of some two dozen treatments over the 35 years since my first AA meeting. I truly believed I going to drink myself to death and nearly did. After 6 days in the ICU and a blood alcohol level that should have been fatal I came to Roaring Brook. They believed in me when I couldn’t believe in myself. I feel rooted and supported in a way I couldn’t imagine. It’s not hyperbole to say Roaring Brook saved my life.

I am a client care navigator for the Isaiah House treatment center and when it comes to referring clients to IOP and sober living Roaring Brook is my first choice. Amazing place!!!! I can’t say enough about the knowledge and compassion of the staff. They help with all aspects of addiction and when you leave you know that you have been changed. It is very intense along with therapy but it works. You put the work in and you will come out better. I would send anyone who needed help with addiction to Roaring Brook. The groups are separate so you form relationships and want to see them succeed. The peer support is amazing and the therapist are top notch. Listen to them, you may not understand it but when you graduate it will all make sense. Heal yourself, you deserve it and this is a great place to heal.

When I walked into Roaring Brook, I knew I found a place that was going to be the perfect fit for me. I was treated with care, compassion, love and respect. They treat you like family and will give you all the resources and more to start your recovery journey. The staff is truly amazing at what they do, they go above and beyond to help you in your recovery. The best part is when you graduate, they are still a part of your journey and will help you in anyway possible.. First class facility. The hand-picked staff were professional and genuinely cared about my recovery. The intensive program has been the most beneficial experience in helping me to change, grow, and recover. The facility is immaculate. The staff at Roaring Brooke go above and beyond for the safety and care of their clients. The staff is filled with well trained physicians to the highest of expectations a recovery program can achieve. There is not one negative thing I have to say about this recovery program. If you work it, it works. Roaring Brooke is the best part of my week and it is saving my life. Not only will they teach you ways to recover from your addiction, but also coping skills in the process. They go above and beyond for every client enrolled. Hands-down. The best recovery system in Kentucky.

Roaring Brook Recovery center is amazing. The decision to become a client there was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The staff is beyond amazing... They never push anything on us, they merely make suggestions that helped themselves along their own journeys or the things they learned through furthering their educations. Both the group and the individual therapy's have nothing but genuine love and concern for us. The love radiates from the front desk through out the building! They follow amazing guidelines that can make us laugh easier, love harder and cry together. Recovery is possible, if I can do this anyone can!

This place is a very good place this place has helped me in more ways than any inpatient treatment has ever done for me not only is the program it's self a really good program but every employee that works at this place genuinely cares about Each and every one of their participants They go above and beyond to make sure that they help you in every aspect of your recovery and they want to see everyone in their program succeed I would highly recommend this treatment facility to anyone that is battling addiction I can promise you if you go into their program willing to do the Work and take suggestions I guarantee success So if you or anyone you love is struggling with addiction don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call roaring Brooke their doors are always open

I would recommend Roaring Brook to anyone who is truly looking to make a change in their life. The staff there is caring and very knowledgeable of all things Recovery. I wouldn’t be the (sober) person I am today w/o this program.
