When my A/C died on one of the first really hot days of the summer I reached out to RES for help. With an easy email service request and a text follow up, I had an appointment scheduled THE NEXT DAY! When they give you a window of time that they will show up (10-2 in my case) they show up at the beginning, and the call+text to let you know they are on the way. The Tech was extremely helpful and resolved my problem in under an hour. Love these guys

I had an old AC unit that stopped working at our home. There was an assumption under my part that this AC unit had finally run its course after 12 years and that I would need to replace it, but to my amazement when the RES technician (Dave) did his analysis, he discovered that it was just the main capacitor that needed to be replaced. He was incredibly courteous and explained what the problem was, replaced the capacitor, did a thorough cleaning of the unit and verified it was putting out cold air. Upon checking the air quality in the basement, he even educated me that we had a shaft switch that would allow me to deflect the AC air flow in the summer time, so that I didn't have to close all my vents. The fact that RES didn't immediately try to sell me a new AC unit and simply replaced the capacitor has earned my trust. I will be returning to RES for all of our HVAC issues in the future.

Residential Express Services Heating & AC arrived within the time range I was given, they called 20 minutes before to let me know they were on their way. They did introduce themselves, but if I don't write down names I don't always remember, so I apologize for that. The two men were at all times courteous, professional, explained what they would do. After the A/C maintenance was completed they explained what was done (all OK which is good news). I did take advantage of a discount coupon from their website. I also asked for an estimate to level the outside A/C which appears to be sinking forward into the ground, and they recommended that the outside A/C condenser coil be cleaned. I was given estimates for both.
Overall, I am very happy with the results. I will most definitely call Residential Express in the future.

Last year RES was recommended by a friend after another company recommended replacing the entire unit..Maged F , a technician from RES upon inspecting the unit changed the freon and told me to call them if the unit gave me any problems..there were no problems...this morning Maged from RES came for a maintenance check..he found part that needed to be replaced and installed it. Changed the furnace filter and made sure everything was in working order..I was more than happy to renew my main contract for an another year ..RES is the best company for service, quality of work completed. You can trust them for not trying to overcharge you or try to charge for what's not needed .ask for Maged .. he's a gem!

My Heat pump died on me a couple of weeks ago. I shopped around and got estimates from over 8 companies. They were not the cheapest but had one of the better prices. They also respected that I was looking for quotes and was not looking for a sales pitch (I don't like wasting companies or my time). Combined that with their Yelp review, I decided to give them a shot.
The communication back and forth was excellent. All of my questions were answered quickly and they pointed out some of the lies other HVAC companies had told me (trying to oversell me on the Heat Pump, said getting a higher tonage unit would be fine, etc).
They came within the time window they promised. The two gentlemen who came were very professional, very clean (they cleaned up all of their mess, wore booties on their shoes, etc), and explained everything they did to the level of detail I asked. They finished the work well within the time estimate they gave me and they were very friendly as well.
Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the service RES provided and like I told the service manager, I look forward to continue doing business with RES in the future.

This is not our first time using RES, having used them for HVAC servicing and replacement in the past, and they continue to give exceptional service at a fair price. Most recently we hired them to replace a leaking water heater. Although they were not open on Sunday when we first found the leak, they gave us a quote within 30min of calling them right when the office opened on Monday morning, and scheduled the work for Tuesday at noon.
William and his colleague showed up right on time, left the basement much cleaner than they found it, and included some related work as part of the flat fee service, whereas other providers either said they couldn't do that work or would charge an additional fee on top of an already higher price.
To that point - we called a bigger name company and a local plumbing company that did have Sunday hours for quotes before we spoke to RES. They both quoted prices that were multiple thousands more than RES charged, and did not include all of the finishing touches that RES could offer. I wish RES did more types of home repairs because I would hire them every time!

Even wore shoe protectors indoors to keep my dirty carpets from, well, you get it ;o) He made sure to thoroughly clean the unit of all the gunk in and out (that I never bothered to clean myself, which is probably not a smart thing on my part). So I have used RES for a few years ago. Every tech is very professional and does a great job. I sign up for an annual contract, and they come out for the spring A/C check and then in the fall for the heating. They replace filters when they are out, and check the heat pumps outside. When they find issues, they let me know and give me a fair price.

This was a great experience from start to finish, beginning with the quote process through installation and walkthrough.
1) competitive pricing (military/Veteran discount was a plus)
2) quick and thorough communication
3) able to quote without on-site visit (probably depends on service)

We needed our water heater replaced and requested quotes from three companies in the area (RES was most competitive). I contacted Residential Express Services, and Mary answered (without having to wait on hold). She was helpful and knowledgeable, and asked for pictures of the existing system to see if they could provide a quote without an on-site visit. Within 30 minutes of sending the pictures, Tra, the service manager, provided a comprehensive quote without having to do an on-site. I had a few questions about the replacement model and whether they had a veteran or military discount, and Tra responded immediately.
On the day of the install, the technicians—Santo and Will—communicated their arrival time in advance and actually arrived on time. They inspected the space, asked a few questions and communicated the entire process, including how long it would take. They finished well within their estimated time and walked me through the new system and left the space cleaner than when they got there.
Overall, it was a great experience and would highly recommend them for water heater replacement.
