My name is Brian and I reside in Colorado. My cousin Frank Wiker passed away. I knew that I would be taking care of Franks final arrangements . However being so far from him I thought would have made it a logistical nightmare. I Contacted the funeral home and they were so welcoming and made it seem we had a life long friendship. They had taken care of everything down to the most minor detail . And had his cremains arriving to me here in Colorado in no time allowing his family to get together here and place his ashes in the shadows of the San Decristo mountains where the deer and coyote run. When my sister passed away, I called Steve. He took care of everything for my family, he was the kindest most reassuring person. I have buried several family members, and I must say, Steve is the first Funeral Director, that was conscious of our finances and did not try and take advantage of our situation. But I think the most important thing that I appreciated was that he was real. He never spoke to us with a “ FAKE” Funeral Director sympathy tone. He always kept it real. That to me spoke volumes of his ethics and personality. I cannot say enough of how much I appreciate Steve. Where should I begin?! Steve is the absolute best! This was my first time experiencing the death of a close family member(my father) so I had NO idea where to even begin. From day 1 when I called Raffeo-DiCecco and spoke to Steve, I immediately felt at ease with the first steps of the process. There is no book that is handed to you when a parent passes away however from first phone call, to cremation to ash pickup all of our questions were answered and with sympathy and patience.
