My PCP referred me for impacted cerumen. This is a chronic problem for me, and I usually get treated by my PCPs staff. It was particularly bad this time around, so I made an appointment with Becker ENT in Freehold. I was seen by Connor McAuley, PA-C. After a quick exam, Connor used a small vacuum device and just like that the problem was resolved. 10 minutes start to finish. No fuss, no muss, no discomfort. And Connor is great -- knows his stuff and very gentle. Ill be back.

The front desk was amazing. They did everything they could to get me on the schedule in the timeframe I needed, for future appointments. Also the scheduler at the main line did a lot to get me in within 24 hours. People don't realize how hard scheduling in a busy doctor's office can be. Dr Ahmed was great. He took the time to listen to my concerns and then worked with the front desk to get my needs met. They were all great

I have had the most amazing experience here! Dr. Kara Silberthau is truly outstanding! She listened carefully to me, evaluated me thoroughly, offered full explanations for assorted services and treatments, respected my feelings, and was careful and calming while doing a procedure. When my symptoms suddenly changed, she made sure I was seen immediately by an audiologist (Amanda, who was also terrific!) and that I had a follow-up appointment with her right afterwards. She continues to answer my questions, and I am delighted to say that I am already improving, thanks to her quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Perhaps most important to me throughout this somewhat startling turn of medical events, has been the patience and compassion with which I’ve been treated. Too many office staff, nurses, and doctors nowadays treat patients robotically or callously; each and every person with whom I have interacted at Becker ENT, however, has been wonderful.

I had scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kara Silberthau, MD. She was attentive, listened carefully to my symptoms, took her time to diagnose the issue that I was dealing with and then subscribed the appropriate medication and next steps. During the two appointments, she was very pleasant to interact with, genuinely concerned about me as her patient and her advise helped me recover quickly. Her staff members - The young lady at the reception and another young lady Neha were prompt and efficient. Overall, very responsive team unlike some experiences one has with some doctors where they are more interested in quickly getting you in and out the door in 10 minutes than really listening to their patient.
