I received quotes from about five moving companies, and by far metrowide movers’ fixed rate quote was the most competitive and reassuring, since it was a fixed rate. We’ve used many moving companies over the years and they never complete the job in the projected time so it ends up costing more than we originally planned when paying by hour.

Not only did Kelli do a very good assessment of our move size, but the crew they sent was fantastic AND it was the fastest move we’ve ever had. It took them about six hours to move two trucks worth of items, and they did a great job. The entire crew was very respectful and communicative and super friendly! Thank you Adam, John, “other” John, Gannon, Isaiah and Issac—best move ever!

Used Metro Wide Movers in 2022 and again in 2023. Easy online quoting system, fast and informed communication before the move, very reasonable price quote, with final actual cost at or below quoted price. And, in both cases, the crew (for most recent move, it was John and Isaac) courteous, professional, and careful with our stuff. A great experience all around, will be our only call if we move again, and our only recommendation if anybody asks about a moving company.

I worked with their main office and obviously the crew. Everyone was consistent. I was happy with a three man crew to help do everything in the minimum amount of time. We hit the minimum and was happy I wasn’t paying extra. I did have to tip outside their final charges but other than that they were perfect for our needs. Will refer to others in the future.

The crew I had was absolutely fantastic. They were efficient and friendly and just did a great job. I moved about 3 and a 1/2 hours away. The movers came and had my 3 bedroom house loaded in 45 minutes. The next day they delivered all of my furniture and boxes to my new location. Again it only took them about 45 minutes. They were very thorough and very cordial. I was so impressed.

After having a horrific moving experience with another KC moving company, I went back to Metro Wide Movers after being referred to them. All I can say is that this was the most efficient, productive and fastest move ever!! 5 stars is not enough and the crew was absolutely on their game the entire move. Was very impressed with movers where they showed up earlier than I thought and since only had a few furniture items, was able to have items out within 20 minutes, then had them delivered to another place where also took only 20 minutes, add in the drive time from downtown ***********, ** to ************, **; complete total time of move was about 1.5 hours. I definitely wouldn't have been able to move the heavy furniture items, but they have been doing that for years and were very careful in loading/unloading furniture. I would recommend anyone moving would be to remove any drawers from dresser as well as any items from any cabinets that need moved, since makes it easier and quicker to unload/load. Would definitely use them again in the future as may need to later this year to move a few items to a warehouse as well as would definitely recommend them to friends.

We needed movers for a short move from an apartment to a home. This company was the only company that called back in a reasonable time, gave us a quote and followed thru. I used Metro Wide Movers, LLC out of ************, ********. They were a excellent company to work with for my move. From the office staff to the movers, they were professional, friendly, on time, fast and took time to make sure my items we're protected during the entire moving process. The price quote for the move was very affordable and well worth it. I had quotes from other moving companies and Metro Wide Movers was by far the best option and price. I definitely recommend and trust this company. I will only use them in the future and they will be the only moving company I will recommend for my family and friends!

We recently used Metro Wide Movers to relocate to a new address and they made the entire experience less stressful. Jerrica and her fellow office workers were always patient and courteous every time I called with questions or changed our inventory. The 3 men who moved our belongings were very respectful of our belongings, no broken items or damages. They took special care on our wood floors. They were on time and worked very hard making things much easier for us.

They did a great job. Communication was excellent throughout. They responded to my inquiry within 2 hours. Answered all my questions, were transparent and honest. Called the day before the move to confirm and day of the move they called ahead to let me know when on the way. Did a great job with the furniture and they were in and out within expected time. My schedule was between 8:00AM and 10:00AM. At 7:45AM I was called and told they would be at my place at 8:15 and they were right on time.
There were 3 men that were ready for work and they worked as a team and they didn't stop loading or unloading until they were finished. As locked up my place and took things I wanted to take with me, they drove to my new place, and were backed up the driveway, had the ramp down and ready to unload. They were.friendly but neat and knew what to do. I had most boxes labeled by room but when a boxed wasn't labeled, they asked where it should go. They took beds apart and asked where I wanted furniture put and set up. I was impressed how they put moving blankets on the sides doorways so not to scratch furniture or door jams.
I have moved a lot in my life, and by far, these 3 men knew what to do and best. It is the second time in 6 years I have used.Metro Wide Movers and I felt they were great each time. This move maybe better.
I did call 3 other moving companies for prices. Metro Wide did have the highest price, but because I liked them 6 years ago, I decided to pay the difference from 1 company $225 less
The men were experienced. They didn't complain if some of the furniture was heavy or was moved around corners or down stairs.
I checked out the truck and it was clean, dust free and even the moving blankets they used were neatly folded and plus they plastic wrapped some.
Using Metro Wide Movers twice was a good decision for me. I wouldn't hesitate using them again.

The 2 guys I had did an amazing job. They kept busy and did not slack.. We definitely went over time though but it's because apparently I have a lot of stufffffff so it cost more than I expected but it was worth it because I could not have moved all of this stuff myself. The guys were very courteous and very gentle with my things

This was my 3rd time moving with Metro Wide, and I will never move with any other company! Every single move I've done with them has gone flawless. Their team is on-time, polite, and super fast. I love their website and being able to do our quote and inventory entirely online and via the phone with their great customer service. They take the right precautions with your stuff and home so they don't cause any damage. They have the best pricing compared to many other popular moving services in the city with both fixed priced and hourly rates. Metro Wide is a the best moving company in KC and I recommend them to anyone!

Used these guys a couple times now. Very fast and professional. I've gotten estimates from multiple moving companies, and these guys blow them away. I was told it would take 3 guys and 8 hours to move from my 2nd floor 3br apt. to our new 2nd floor 2 br apt and cost about $1200. Metro Wide moved it all in 4 hours with 2 guys for under $1k. Would highly recommend.

THIRD time using their services!! These guys were incredible and amazing hard workers!! The job went longer than estimated and they were troopers through it all. They were very kind, polite, and courteous including professional….we never felt like they weren’t working or taking to long and made sure everything was in the right place.
