I was pulled over on Dec. 2nd in Clear Lake and didn’t realize that the ticket was actually three citations on one piece of paper. That tells you how long it’s been since I’ve been pulled over! I immediately began looking for an attorney and Scott Markowitz’s firm popped up. After reading the reviews I decided to give him a call. I spoke directly with Scott and explained everything to him. He assured me that everything would be okay and to not worry as his firm would take care of things. He said that he would reset the court date and be in touch as the date got near. I was worried sick and thought about the incident every single day. Scott’s team was absolutely great. They stayed in touch via text and email and made certain to contact me via phone a couple of days before the scheduled court date. On that fateful day I was quite nervous going into court not knowing what really to expect. I had made up more in my mind than what actually occurred. The time stated for court was 2:00. About 2:10, a young lady walked into court and called my name. She introduced herself and told me she was with the Markowitz law firm and that she had already worked out a deal with the court. She explained it to me and asked if I would like to proceed. Basically, two of the citations were dropped and I was to pay a small fee to the court for deferred adjudication (don’t get a ticket for three months and it drops off the record). I was ecstatic! YES, please proceed! It was a huge relief to have this off my mind, and driving record! I can say without hesitation that Scott Markowitz and his team will be the law firm that I will use and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who has a moving violation to contend with. They are prompt, exact, and extremely helpful and friendly. Many, many thanks to Scott and his team!

After having an immaculate driving record, I got 3 traffic tickets in rapid succession… I did some research and discovered that (in the long run) a good attorney would be cheaper than insurance hikes. Scott was recommended by my real estate attorney and he was worth his weight in gold. One ticket was dismissed by sheer luck and Scott represented me for the other two. He was able to get the other 2 dismissed as well! He’s more affordable than others and you’ll be glad you hired him!

THEY DO THE JOB I called them up with only 2 weeks of notice till my first hearing, they said no problem. I paid the initial fee, and I got my appropriate follow up letter from their offices, after they filed for a reset, with my new court date. I got my traffic tickets at the end of 2021 and my court was set until 2023 if I remember correctly. The point is that there was a lot of time in between, so I completely forgot about it. I checked on it recently after remembering about it, and to my surprise (and their dedicated attentiveness) the court Harris County Justice of the Peace Precinct 5, Place 1 disposed of my case. Later they gave me the good news! Greatest surprise for a speeding ticket in a school zone which I thought was a bit unfair to cítate. Great communication, will resume business with them.
