I researched the best robotic hip replacement surgeons in Indiana. Dr Hoods name came-up. I was very fortunate that he excepted me as a patient. At our first visit he explained the procedure explicitly. Within 3 weeks, I had a new hip! In Hospital at 6AM home at 7PM Absolutely no pain whatsoever! Dr. Hood is fantastic!

I recently had a double hip replacement. Dr. Hood and his entire staff was excellent! Friendly, patient, answered all my questions and made me feel confident in my decision to move forward with the surgery. Now on the backend, I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I have my active life back! I would highly recommend Dr. Hood!

Dr. Hood replaced my right hip. He did a great job! I am now pain free and walking fine without walker or cane.

I had a torn Menescus and was dealing with it for over a year and I could barely walk because of all the pain I got into see Dr Hood and he did a MRI found the tear and scheduled me for out patient surgery and went in and fixed it 6 week later with physical therapy I am 100% better and no pain he is so nice and didn't sugar coat it I would rather it be that way he called me himself to Check on me after surgery I have never had a doctor do that before would definitely recommend him to anyone great group of people . Thank you Dr Hood!!!

I thought I was having hip pain, and after getting an x-ray, and he determined my hip was just fine, we did find out where the pain was coming from.i was so relieved, and was scheduled immediately to pain management. I sought his opinion after already being seen elsewhere and told that, while elective, knee replacement is the only option to relieve pain and restore function. Dr Hood said the same after his exam and reviewing X-rays. I greatly appreciated his honesty about my condition and thorough explanation of my particular anatomy and the surgical procedure. I also liked that he introduced himself as Mark - not a drop of arrogance in him. (But then I am old enough to be his mother!) I am scheduling surgery with him and will share feedback again post op.
