We’re very pleased with the work that Randy and his crew did with regards to painting the house. The crew was punctual and professional while here and were receptive to any requests we made on site. House looks great and hoping it lasts for another 12-15 years. The only thing that would make this solid 5 for us would be some attention to detail not related to the actual painting itself regarding window cleanup after run off from pressure washing, cleaning paint that was splattered onto windows, discarding debris after trimming up hedges to get to the house, etc. Little things that go a long way in our opinion, but again very happy with the quality of the painting. No before pics, but a during and few afters.

We have had Lowcountry Painting do several projects. They have been spectacular. The interior work and touch up was done to transform our spaces. The repairs to drywall and trim were excellent. Then, another effort was the exterior work. They repaired flashing and caulking. The house looked wonderful, and there was no evidence that they had been in or on the property, cleanup was complete. I would recocmmend them for any work. New construction and remodel or touch-up.

Such a super job and follow up on my front porch and guest bathroom. The gable over the garage (which was a shoddy example of the builder's typical work) had peeling paint over Styrofoam and Randy's team did an excellent repair. The team was professional, courteous, neat, and superb!!! They even finished early!

1st Time Exterior House Painting Review When seeking to have work accomplished, it’s always been advised to seek multiple quotes. At a minimum, I seek three and validate if the companies are license and insured. Knowing this, I set out and received four quotes to paint the entire exterior of my home. Here is what I learned: Not all quotes are the same! Get it in writing! 1. Does the quote included pressure washing the exterior first. Some did, others did not. One left it to the client to have this accomplished ahead of painting. Defeats the purpose. 2. Does it identify the name brand, type, and finish of the paint. 3. Quotes normally have their paint recommendation but you should have them adjust their quote to include the name brand, quality, and finish your seeking within the quote. 4. Does it include repairing hairline cracks in hardy plank. 5. Does it include the removal of old worn out caulking and replace with new exterior caulking. 6. Does it include resetting nails and screws that are visible. 7. Does it include applying wood filler, bondo, or putty to repair gaps in areas for a smooth finish to include sanding areas of concerns. 8. Do they provide a primer prior to painting, some provide a transparent paint primer while others stated they use a primer & paint combination. 9. Does it include the concrete foundation if necessary. 10. Does it include the house trim. 11. If you have a detached garage, does it include the garage within the quote. Quotes: I received four quotes from four different license and insured painting companies. The quotes range from 25%, 43%, 82%, and 127% from the lowest Quote. Not all quotes are equal, some included aspect that were necessary and others didn't. I also did my own research on the age of the companies, , craftsmen employment, 3rd party sub-contractors, online reviews which of course is open to interpretation. All in all, there were two companies that fit what I was seeking which was an upfront honest quote which included all aspect of the aforementioned, employment status, and a fare quote. Low Country Painting, LLC was by far the best option for our residence. Randy, the owner conveyed everything up front and when I suggested alternate aspect, he was more than receptive to add my wants and needs to the quote. His team were full time employees not 3rd party sub-contractors. His team headed by Frank were here on time each and every day and ensured that all aspect of the job were getting accomplished. They were true craftsmen within their trade. They cleaned up the work site at the end of each day and were very respectful of our home and performed this task meticulously. Our home has never looked this great! We differently recommend Low Country Painting, LLC.
