On February 27,2026 I had explant surgery. Not wishing to be on my own I decided to use LVR for my aftercare. I’m so glad I did. Best experience ever. I had round the clock care with RN Nurses. A delicious dinner was prepared for me along with snacks galore. The location is a beautiful home close to the surgery center fully renovated to accommodate guests with every convenience. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for and completely at ease. The nurses who assisted me were truly exceptional. They were kind, compassionate, warm, and very knowledgeable. They anticipated my needs before I even had to ask and made me feel safe, supported, and comfortable during a vulnerable time. The facility itself is beautiful, peaceful, and so inviting. It felt less like a medical setting and more like a comforting home where healing comes naturally. The environment was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Even though I originally planned to stay only one night, I honestly wish I had booked a couple more. The level of care and comfort I received made a huge difference in my recovery, and I’m so grateful for the team there. I have been a guest at LVR twice and I have received excellent care with every nurse that has been there during my stay. Paige is very attentive and quick to respond to all my needs I had as well. The home itself is GORGEOUS! House is clean and safe, it was easy to get comfortable when you are recovering with limitations. The beds are like sleeping on a pillow, easy to sleep. The food they prepare is so good and healthy. I kept extending my stay because I did not want to go. I will always recommend them to anyone that needs a recovery home in the Newport area. Will be staying here for my last surgery. I am so glad my surgeons office recommended this recovery home. Paige is the best.

I stayed here after my mommy makeover and extended my stay several times because the care I received from Paige and her entire team was absolutely wonderful and I did not want to leave. The whole team made sure I took my meds on time, made delicious meals and were super knowledgeable in my procedure and gave me helpful tips. They are kind and thoughtful. Even though I was there to recover from surgery I felt like a mini vacay since as a mom I'm always the caregiver and not too often the receiver of it. I want to thank all the women who took care of me during my stay. I most definitely recommend Laguna Village Recovery center to anyone who wants to be pampered, and well taken care of. I especially want to thank Chrishell, if I'm not mistaken, I think is her name (I was highly medicated) she picked me up from the surgery center and took care of me my first night, she was truly and unbelievably so kind and you can tell she loves what she does. I felt so safe and comfortable with her. And that made me feel relaxed knowing I was in good hands with all the other wonderful ladies that also took care of me. They gave me my meds, made sure I had something in my belly 3 times a day, always refilled my water, gave me plenty of snacks, helped in and out of bed, always assisted me to the restroom and made sure I had plenty of pillows, blankets and anything I needed. I didn't want to leave to be honest.

LVR provides a pretty, clean, homey environment that is perfect for your post op care. The staff is friendly, supportive and cheerful. They offer a wonderful selection of nutrition options however I wasn’t able to enjoy much of them due to extreme nausea caused by the anesthesia. Setting up paperwork prior to your stay is seamless and I am extremely pleased at how well they worked with my surgeon and his staff — pre & post op. Knowing my surgeon was easily accessible at any time gave me a sense of security & confidence. Thank you LVR for your friendly care during this critical stage of my recovery!

Oh my gosh, there are not enough words or stars to give. After a surgery, I stayed in this recovery center. The staff was a 10, the sheets and bedding were a 10. The whole experience was honestly the reason I think I healed so quickly. True story, I did not want to go home, but they did not have an extra night for me.
