We interviewed 4 different water proofing/basement repair businesses and decided to work with Highlander based on their presentation and their ability to meet our financial budget. The work was completed in one day, the workers were friendly and the final product exceeded our expectations. Writing this before the work is done, will update after if any changes, but so far the customer service provided deserves a review. Brandon on the estimate/quote side, Ron on the production/scheduling side, and the rest of the team at Highlander have been awesome to work with. They were the easy choice when faced between them and their big name competitor in the area. Brandon was able to get out to my house in a much quicker time frame than their big name competitor. He assessed all of the damage, taking his time to explain what he was looking at and sharing his thoughts on everything. He answered all of my questions, and was able to provide a quote on the spot. Ron has been very cooperative and friendly with working out the repair schedule, as I am waiting on my propane company to move some service lines and tanks to open up the repair area. Overall, just a MUCH more pleasant experience than trying to work with their big name competitor, who's name makes you think it's a small local brother business. That competitor's rep seemed to employ the doom and gloom sales tactic, making me think the damage was much worse than it actually is. I called them 3 weeks before Highlander, yet they were only able to get here the day before Highlander. I also still don't have a quote from them, but sure did receive their upsell book in the mail very quickly.

The consultation was thorough and my options were explained in depth and in a way that I could understand. Scheduling was a breeze and the work was done in a timely manner and done well. I highly recommend them for any of your basement, foundation, or waterproofing needs. I will use them again for any future project that I have.

Highlander has been a pleasure to work with! From the man who came to give me the estimate, the office when I needed to call (I could always get someone to answer the phone), to the amazing installation crew. I cant say enough wonderful things about them all. Their communication and professionalism was the best! The work I had done was extensive and I had many questions. Both the office and the installation crew answered them all thoroughly and politely. I dont think I have ever seen such a knowledgeable and hard working installation crew! They were very considerate of me, my home, and my property. They always kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up the area each day and when they finished. Thank you to Rich and his crew!! Needless to say, I highly recommend Highlander Waterproofing!

Highly recommend. They came out to inspect the property and give an estimate the SAME DAY I called!! Brian was knowledgeable and clear and honest and kind. The price was very fair, and they sent their guys to do the work 4 days later. The French drain was exactly as promised and they left the property neat and clean and ready to apply sod and grass seed.

Very pleased. Brock did our initial inspection and was very thorough. He spent three hours at our house, not only inspecting but teaching us potential history about the foundation. The work was done quickly and Wes was very informative. We ran into an issue with the backup not working and weeping holes not being drilled as discussed during our inspection. I spoke with Ron the very next day. Ron had Ben, the technician from Dunkirk, come out that very same day to address both issues. I would highly recommend this organization.

The staff showed on time, or a little early and seemed prepared to start working quickly. They seemed efficient in the work they did and worked as a team. At the end of their day at my home. They let me know what to expect for the next day as well as summarized what they got done. When the entire French drain project was done, they reviewed the things I needed to know and answered my questions. The cleaned up some each day, but did a very good cleanup on the last day. Very Professional!

We had a few issues in Our American Legion Post. We brought out a few Contractors. Highlander came in mid range. We chose Highlander as the sales representative took the time to explain everything in great detail. They measured, plum-bobed the walls, even checked the sumppump used for groundwater collection. We were told 12 straps, 2 pins and a new ground water collection container and sumppump. Instead of digging a new hole for the new water collection container and sumppump, they retrofitted the original space. They planned on 4 days, were done in 4 days even with a man down (due to a medical issue) have way thru the job. The crew was awesome, polite, friendly and worked. There was no standing around. The used plastic to contain the dust, cleaned everything up. If it wasnt for the work, you swear no one was there. Mike, Dan and Mike were good to have here. They knew what had to be done, put up plastic dust curtains to protect where they were not working, and completed the job in a week. Even the sod over the drain pipe was folded back and restored. Requests I made were honored, and they were open to any questions, any time.

Highlander Waterproofing and Foundation did an excellent job installing an interior French Drain and sump pump in our 125+ year old basement. They came promptly to do the estimate, arrived as scheduled, and completed the job quickly. A few adjustments had to be made as they worked, but everything was explained to us and finished to our satisfaction. So far, our basement is dry! Overall a great experience with a professional company. Would highly recommend.

The original drainage system for our basement sump became clogged and flooded our side yard. Highlander installed a new system to assist in proper dispursement of springtime snow melt off. It remains to be seen if the installation works ok but the installer’s did a great job from start to finish
