Jay is professional, always on time, and always tells you what he's doing to maintain your equipment. He always goes above and beyond when it comes to service, and it's always nice chatting with him. I recommend Jay for all furnace and AC issues to anyone who owns their home.

GoogleMy old high efficiency Lennox furnace was reaching its end so I obtained quotes from several local contractors on a new one. After comparing their service proposals and features of major brands Carrier, Trane and Lennox, I hired High Efficiency Cooling & Heating to supply and install a Carrier Performance furnace in mid December, 2019. From the onset I was very impressed by the knowledge and attentiveness of our sales rep Charton. He took time to study our existing system and duct work and explain which model would best fit our need and, he was the only rep who went through in great details about the "what" and "how" of available Enbridge home improvement rebates. The price quoted was not the cheapest but very reasonable considering the quality of installation, the extra details of the work, the extent of Charton's going out of his way to accommodate us and facilitate the energy audit, as well as the labour and parts warranty offered. The installation was excellently done by 2 master technicians, led by Lu. When they unboxed the new furnace they advised us right away that there was a dent on the side and they needed to get a new one from warehouse. Although it took an extra 2 hours, as customer we appreciated such a responsible practice. The furnace made a significant difference in heating comfort of our house. I highly recommend this company, and get Charton to quote if you can.

HomeStarsOur less than 2 year old furnace drain kit was leaking water. Called High Efficiency Cooling and Heating for servicing which was still under warranty. The service technician came the same day. He was very thorough and detailed. He quickly detected the water leak and will order the parts. Aside from performing the furnace maintenance, he also checked our central humidifier (added bonus because he didn't have to do that, much appreciated). Will definitely be using them again for regular annual service maintenance.
GoogleUPDATE Mar 22 2021: The new Motor replaced earlier, had a High Pitch sound which was audible to only discerning ears! Nevertheless, Gilbert stayed on top of the problem & assured me that a senior Tech would attend to this. It was Gilbert who reminded us, we did not have to chase him (as one has to with most Warranty requests). They coordinated with the Manufacturer (Carrier), who too should be equally complimented for their response & involvement. Today Harry, their Snr. & VERY knowledgeable Tech, replaced the Motor. And voila, now, we cannot even hear the Furnace running at all...soooo quiet! Thanks to all, at High Efficiency for being so diligent,, especially Gilbert & Harry! UPDATE Nov 25 2020: Requested warranty repair on slight noise on shut down of furnace. Gilbert handled this meticulously & kept me abreast of HEs communication with Carrier. Technician came twice until I was fully satisfied. Incredible follow up by Gilbert..most companies have been using Covid as a shield, but HE responds IMMEDIATELY to my requests. The technician Jason, was amazing, very thorough, professional & patient. HE, please keep,up this great customer service mandate & u will be THE BEST Heating/Cooling company in Canada. Everything was done professionally! Out of 3 major company Sales Reps, Sergue from High Efficiency was the only Rep who advised me of the available Enbridge Rebates. Others actually stated that our house was too new (14 yrs old!) & so we would not qualify! He explained that there's an independant procedure ie through any approved Enbridge Auditor. By going through an auditor & following their recommendations, we were able to claim a substantial Rebate. Service: Heating maintenance

They responded quickly and sent a technician right away. Jason - a senior service technician - discovered the problem very fast and fixed it (it was a dead capacitor).
