My A/C system did not work and the diagnosis indicated that the thermometer broke. However, during the installation of the new thermometer, the technician checked out that the original cause was the wiring and so additional part was required. With the new part, the technician completed the re-installation of the new thermometer and he carefully checked to make sure that both the A/C and furnace are working before the completion of the service. The technician was very patient and skillful.

High Efficiency Cooling & Heating cimpany was very prompt in responding to my request for inspection and service of our HVAC system and gas water heater. The technician Harry was very helpful and efficient in performing the work. He explained to me in details what he believed was causing the problem with our water heater and recommended the proper setting of the controller to optimize the heater.

Harry and his colleague were excellent, as always. They were friendly, hardworking, and very professional. Harry took the time to explain what they were seeing, showed me the capacitors, and walked me through what could be addressed without ever making me feel pressured or oversold. He was knowledgeable about the replacement costs and gave helpful, honest opinions when asked. They cleaned and serviced our central HVAC system, were flexible enough to add on some additional work that had not been scheduled, and also cleaned the filters on our ductless system. Everything is working great. Really appreciate the reliable service and would highly recommend this team.

Early Sunday morning, I heard a beeping sound in the basement. It was our Rinnai tankless water heater displacing number 17 on the control panel. We don’t have hot water.Called High efficiency cooling and heating company, the same company that does maintenance for our furnace and AC. Rick called to schedule a technician for Monday. The company provided a very professional technician name Harry. He explained in detailed what was the problem and worked on it right away. Overall communicative with fast and effective responses and installation was arranged following day. Great customer service with respect to set up, installation and trouble shooting. One star down for style points as last minute it was determined that I needed a new thermostat and it ended up leaving some empty space on my wall.

Installed two heat pumps using the company, during the installation at my home the technicians replace my old black drainage tube with clear ones as my old AC was leaking water. They are happy to answer my questions about dampers and over/under sizing of heat pump. They also added an Eco bee with each heat pump and set it up for me. Fast response and excellent service even in the peak AC season. I personally referred this company to my neighbors and in-laws after my experience. I will be using this company for all HVAC related service from now on.

We needed some technical help with re-setting our EcoBee thermostat for the heat pump/furnace activities and left a message with their service manager. We got a text reply very quickly and after giving some details about our issue, they had a technician come by our home about 3 hours later who fixed the problem. I bought my furnace from High Efficiency many years ago because they were close by and had a good reputation. My furnace quit on a cold day in January 2024.
