Heston & Heston is great. I'm more than half way through my Chapter 13, and in that time we've had COVID, I needed to buy a new car, my salary was reduced, and I moved states twice. Ben is super responsive. The initial petition was filed quickly. Ben let me know exactly what documents he needed, and he got it done. Easy peasy.

Since that time, I've had to file a few things with the court to account for changing circumstances. Ben let me know how much extra his fees were in each case before we did anything. He also took time to reassure me almost immediately when I had specific concerns about the process.

I had a mortgaged house involved in the bankruptcy in another state, and Ben helped me figure out that entire issue. The co-owner of the house was being difficult with me, and Ben told me to just give the co-owner his number. It was a big relief as the co-owner was causing me a lot of stress.

Ben is always calm and collected, and he will tell you if he needs to look something up. The student loan companies are always difficult about repayment in bankruptcy, and he has continued to try to get them to take my money.

Ben is highly responsive, transparent, ethical, and very communicative. I couldn't ask for more in a lawyer in this complicated process. I consulted with 3 different lawyers initially, and I'm glad I chose him. I was not just a case number to him like some of the other lawyers I interviewed with.

Being that Ben is a bankruptcy lawyer, I hope I do not have to use his services again. However, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering the bankruptcy process.

Ben saved my life and my house. The previous lawyer i had keep screwing up my bankruptcy case with the bank wanting to auction my house i didnt have enough time to find a new lawyer. Ben was willing to help me out with my case and this man will do the work. Save my case and my house. He even helped me get my price dropped on my bankruptcy during this pandemic. Where do I begin my praises for this company? Let us start from the beginning...

When my husband and I started to look for a Bankruptcy company that can help us, you can only imagine the shame and the anxiety of calling and talking to someone about very personal stuff. We called a couple of bankruptcy companies, some, we got their assistants, some said we would get a callback but, others we did and others never heard back.
With Heston & Heston, I was actually surprised to get a call back from Ben Heston directly. He was so friendly and so inviting, that he made me feel really comfortable in sharing with him our situation. He took the time to listen, took notes, and made me feel I had all the time in the world to talk to him. At that point, we had other calls that were rushed and felt so systematic.

We did get calls back from other companies and after their evaluation, they said, that we can file for Chapter 13 and not Chapter 7. With Ben, he evaluated our case and actually created and recommended different plans for us, pros and cons for each one. That was such a powerful thing to do as he gave us options that felt like we had control over. With his recommendation, we decided on waiting for a few months, just to make sure that we can file for Chapter 7, with no issues. If he didn't do this, we may have just gone with other companies and accepted Chapter 13.

It was a process for sure, but not once did we feel like we were by ourselves. Ben would personally reach out to us to give us updates on where we are at, assuring us that we were on the right track. One of the impressive things is that he didn't charge us much, with the amount of work and follow-ups that he did along with his team. Not to mention late-night calls or early morning ones. What does that say? That he is really there to help, not just for money.

But the biggest takeaway is that Ben Heston and his team, are just genuine people who just care. You can feel the love - at the lowest point of our financial life, we needed this, not just a lawyer to tell us what to do, but that love and understanding... Not once did we ever feel judged but rather we felt so supported along the way.

We are happy to say that our case has been closed and we are so grateful and so very blessed that God has led us to Ben Heston and his team. We are recommending him to all of you who are out there trying to choose the right lawyer, you will be in great hands, that is a guarantee from a client. And we will continue to recommend him over and over. We are telling you, you will not regret it. Ben Heston and his team are just the best!

We came to Heston & Heston at one of the lowest points in our lives. We were out of options and felt like we had nowhere to go. From the very beginning Halli and her team made us feel welcome, and that there were more options ahead of us than we knew. By the end of that first appointment we had hope again. We had a very complicated situation which required a full payoff of all of our outstanding debts. Throughout the entire process, including multiple court appearances, Halli was very diligent about making sure we always knew what each step of the process meant and how she would be there to support us throughout. I am happy to say that thanks to her guidance we completed our payoff plan ahead of schedule and now can put the dark times behind us. Ben Heston is one of the most trustworthy and helpful lawyers I have ever met. Anytime I had a question or issue he was very quick to reply even if it was over the weekend. From the beginning of my first phone call I was very impressed with Halli. Our first meeting put us at ease and feeling very comfortable and in good hands.
