Absolutely everyone involved was an absolute pleasure to work with. Their input, advice, and perspective was invaluable. Besides that, all were personable and professional and the quality of workmanship was excellent. Sera, Jodi, and John made it all come together for a finished project that will serve Kairos Dwelling for decades to come. Kudos all around.

The Battle Creek Tabernacle Church structure is almost 100 years old. The sanctuary had not been updated since the late 1970's. We needed to make some major improvements while at the same time maintaining as much as possible, the historic atmosphere of the church. As was typical of most churches from that era, the interior of the building had a lot of molded wood trim. We didn't want to lose that beauty. As we looked for contractors to do the renovations, it was important to understand how they would fulfill our desires. Early in our conversations with Hawks Hollow Builders, they expressed the philosophy that a church is more like a home when considering the importance of the "finishing" details. That is how we felt. HHB did not disappoint us. When you enter the sanctuary, it is not readily apparent what is original construction and what is new. Eric, their project manager, was very focused on this, and his attention to detail was outstanding. Eric was great to work with, as well as, the rest of the crew. He communicated and made sure we were satisfied at every stage of the project. We wanted to worship in the sanctuary as long as possible during the renovation process. Eric made sure at the end of each week that the sanctuary was cleaned up and as much as possible the construction equipment was moved out of the way. It was a pleasure and a blessing working with the entire HHB staff.
