Grand Rapids Heating and Cooling were able to come out that afternoon after realizing I had no heat that morning. Birds over time decided to use my vents as nesting place. They were able to remove the nest and put a vent covered. Great customer service.

Travis did a great job! Polite, neat and helpful. He went the extra mile when the part he replaced didn't fix the problem. Gave us a good deal on replacement hot water heater. Would definitely recommend and will use in the future.

Recently our 16 year old combination boiler and water heater malfunctioned and I was sure that we were looking at least a couple thousand dollar replacement bill.
On the strong recommendation of a close friend I called Grand Rapids Htg & Cooling. Travis came out and quickly diagnosed a relatively simple issue. He came back the next day and replaced the defective part, and amazingly, for the incredibly reasonable price of just under $200 for the Two visits including materials, he had it all up and running perfectly! If we had been told that the whole very complex unit needed to be replaced I'm sure we would have paid for it.
Then, the following day he followed up with a personal phone to make sure everything was fine.
All too often today, the combination of expertise, coupled with honesty, and courtesy is sorely lacking. We certainly didn't experience anything but the best of all three of these qualities with Travis!

We have a combination boiler and H2O heater combination unit that began to perform poorly and because it was 15 years old we were convinced that it was going to be a very costly "replacement" issue. Travis checked it out and said that it was a rather simple (& relatively inexpensive-"comparatively") fix. We were anticipating a couple thousand dollar bill for a replacement unit and it turned out about $200!! And we would not have known to question a whole replacement what with the complexity of our system. TOTALLY Impressed with the Honesty, Integrity, and Value of this company! Henceforth we will go nowhere else for heating and cooling issues!

The technician, Travis, was great. He was on time, answered all my questions, and fixed the problem. My issue was that we had called and left a voicemail and never received a call back. Finally I went online and scheduled the appointment. We were without heat from Sat until Wed.

Called on Saturday evening after a day with no heat due to a furnace problem. They called back the same night and offered to come the next morning. They were on time as planned, efficiently diagnosed the problem and had the replacement part in their truck. They do have a premium price for their weekend visits, for me without heat on a 30 degree day, that premium was fair and worth it.

My AC had broke and was not fixable. I had a couple estimates done. I went with Grand Rapids Heating and Cooling. There was no pressure. Several proposals were put together and I was able to choose the best one for my budget. I had my AC, furnace and water heater replaced. Travis did excellent work and explained everything that he was going to do. I will recommend them to anyone who asks for a recommendation!!! Thank you so much!
