Spencer was very helpful when I was purchasing my new xbox!

I left happy, and as always when leaving a video game store I found more than what I was looking for. RIP my bank account but always happy to find something to add to the collection.

My daughter and I had the BEST experience at the Game World located on W 3rd Street in Bloomington. I am terrible with names, the receipt says AP, but this gentleman in store was so kind, funny, chill and relatable to both my daughter and myself despite the difference in what games we were looking for. He’s full of knowledge and takes his time with customers. It would be awesome if more businesses were operated by people like him! Thank you for great support, conversation, and experience!

When I came to the store I was greeted by an employee promptly who helped me find the Nintendo Switch games I was looking for to get my son for his bar mitzvah. Stockton was very knowledgeable and made the experience well worth the trip. Thanks again Game World.

Great place to buy and sell games. Alan (i think that was his name) was really nice and helpful. I dropped off a box of stuff to sell and he was very quick, same day and took everything!

Went to game world for the first time and it’s the best place you can go to for any gaming needs! Every generation of console, game and accessory. Ari helped me out and she was very sweet and hilarious. Great place to go to!

Got the game I was looking for. An online competitor was asking $10 more for the same game.

I turned in some games for credit and later traded them in for a good game. Later Stockton helped me to choose a game from the stores large selection. Satisfied customer.

Second time I have been to this location, same guy helped me last time. I wish I knew his name, but he is very outgoing guy and a pleasure to work with. The value of good customer service goes a long way with him. This will be the only place I go in town, and while im not a big spender per say, they will get every dime I spend on gaming systems for the kiddos. Kudos guys, keep up the great work! Cameron D. This place has really good staff. I recommend this. They also have really good games. I went here today and I met a really nice staff there you guys get real good service here. I’m really proud of you guys.

Both locations of this store are wonderful. The selection of vintage fighting games -- my specific cup of tea -- could use improvements. But the overall breadth in the collection of games, supply of hardware, and diversity of collectors items is truly impressive. Selection of consoles in this location is particularly broad, though they are in short supply and sell fast! Consoles that have been tested for operation are labeled as such on the price tag, which lets us make more informed decisions about the hardware. The two employees who were there today (4/15/26) were very helpful, supportive, and kind. They also have a large selection of DVDs/Blurays!

Great place for a plethora of classic and newer used games. Anna is a kind and helpful worker who thoroughly explained a buy 3 used game deal going on. In addition, she alerted me to the condition of one of the used game. I appreciated this, and selected another game title and enjoy the games!

Google

Awesome place to shop! They have a huge selection of games and collectibles. I finally found the Funko Pop I’ve been searching for, which was amazing. I was a little unsure about the price at first, but they worked with me and gave me a deal I couldn’t refuse. Great customer service and overall a fantastic experience. I left super happy and will definitely be shopping here again!

Very kind and knowledgeable staff! Not pushy or aggressive sales. Me and my kids love this place!

A great place to look for games, shows/movies, Funko Pops, and other nerdy treasure! Plus the staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be going back!

Google

Nice selection of new and used hardware, games and accessories, and the employees are great. I cant recall their names for the life of me (my own fault! bad memory!) but i was in on 3/18/26 in the late afternoon and both employees present were wonderfully helpful and kind! Please give them both bonuses. They left a great impression and I will definitely be back.

They always take care of me here. Feels like they’re as excited as I am about my interests, very friendly. Dylan (I think that’s the right guy) goes above and beyond with customer service every time I come in.

Google

They have really fair pricing on consoles, and in really good condition too. I got a sega genesis, but they have so much stuff. Alan is awesome, I saw all kinds of games I didn’t even know existed and he gave me a ton of info just off the top of his head. Didn’t even have to look it up! These guys are super nice and wildly passionate about games. I find myself going in there a bunch just because the environment is so refreshing. 10/10 recommend
