I'm a first time home buyer. It was fairly easy. I don't have any experience to compare it to but I don't have any complaints.

Just dropping a review nearly 3 years after the fact, but just wanted to thank Steve Parks and the team for the excellent service they provided in closing on our VA home loan in Texas in April 2022. We shopped around online for lenders and got the best deal with them at that time. Our home was a new construction build and the builders were doing everything they could to get us out of the contract so they could turn around and sell the house for much higher since we locked in the price right before prices surged with COVID. Steve went to bat for us and fought our builders tooth and nail and kept them in check and we ultimately were able to close on time despite some significant time crunches.

Jennifer Patla helped so much when buying my house, I had no idea what I was doing and she helped me every step along the way. She answered every time I called which was probably like 4-5 times a week. Definitely cant recommend enough to use this company and to Definitely use Jennifer.

Having bought and sold several houses in San Diego County, I have dealt with a multitude of Mortgage Loan companies and officers, and Real Estate agents through the process of opening and closing VA Home Loans. Some have provided really good service and support, and some not so much. The typical timeframe in San Diego County to close a VA Home Loan is a minimum of 4-6 weeks. When my wife and I decided to sell our Chula Vista, CA. home and relocate to Gardner, KS to be closer to family; we were concerned about finding a good Real Estate agent and Mortgage Lending company. Those concerns and fears were quashed when we came upon and met Heather Peters of Keller Williams; who recommended two lenders. We chose Fountain Mortgage, and their entire Team did not disappoint. From the very start Robert Biehl and his A-Team have been “Johnny-on-the -Spot”. Every single member of their Team provided superb guidance, service and support; including answering questions and concerns well after normal business hours. This level of service goes well Above-and-Beyond all expectations we were looking for in a Mortgage Lender. My wife and I were treated with dignity and understanding; which means a great deal to us. It is refreshing to have experienced and been part of such an excellent and outstanding group of real people, and the Fountain Mortgage VA Home Loan process. Unbelievably, their A-Team closed our home loan in less 3 weeks. Their “Can Do” attitude and approach motivated my wife and I to do our very best to fulfill our part in the process as quickly as we could. Another interesting side note is Fountain Mortgage’s CEO (Mike Miles). While serving on active duty with the US Navy at NAS North Island, Coronado, CA.; my best friend’s name was Mike Miles. What are the odds of that? My wife and I consider Fountain Mortgage to be A-1, Top Notch in our book. Without hesitation, we would go back to their Team again. You want a great lender to help you through all types of home loan processes - call Fountain Mortgage!

I would have given a 5, but doing the underwriting process they were to do a soft pull on my credit, but found a public record that was not showing on my credit report (non of the 3 bureaus). It seems to me that should be done before escrow, appraisal or inspection. I was blessed to be able to pay off the amount. Otherwise I could have been out of $3500.00. who has that kind of money to just lose.

Kelsey was my agent and she was GREAT. In general the company did not feel like traditional mortgage company. At least from my experience and from what I heard from friends/family.

This was my first time buying a home and I am glad my realtor recommended this company. The whole process was very seamless and Kelsey was always a quick phone call, text, or email away. We did everything remotely and even got a mobile notary out to me in CA.

Kelsey and Fountain were all very friendly from the start all the way until closing and even afterwards. Definitely recommend to all in the service area. Thank you Kelsey for all your help and being so kind and human along the way. Very grateful for all the help
