Dr Allison is very friendly while maintaining his professionalism. He explained the abdominoplasty procedure to me and what my expected results would be. Dr. Allison is not only a true professional — I would go as far as calling him an artist who takes great pride in his work. He performed my cosmetic surgery (tummy tuck and liposuction) on June 5, and you could feel the confidence in his hands and the precision of his skill. His guidance, the way he maneuvered, and the calm reassurance he gave me made the entire experience exceptional.

He even suggested that I stay awake during the procedure so everything could be done with maximum care. With the right medication to keep me relaxed — and my favorite jazz and classical music playing — the operation felt smooth, controlled, and surprisingly peaceful.

I’m proud to say it was a complete success, and I’m extremely happy with the results. I’m also grateful that I didn’t make the mistake of going overseas. Being part of the Penn Medicine family, where all my doctors communicate and coordinate with one another, gave me the safety and follow‑up care I needed.

I would advise anyone in the New York or Philadelphia area to contact his office and schedule a consultation. He’s exceptional on a human level, and that personal connection is what we all want with our doctor. I’ve seen him twice since the surgery, and I’m ecstatic about the results. As a former professional athlete and bodybuilder who dealt with excess skin after weight loss, at 57 I finally feel like my old self again.

Extremely satisfied with my decision to have Dr. Allison perform my breast augmentation and lift! From the moment I first met him, he was personable, a good listener, and had great bedside manners. Dr. Allison provided a mixture of his professional opinion while also considering my preferences to ensure the results and final outcome were tailored to me individually. The procedure was a breeze, and I did not anticipate (but highly appreciated) Dr. Allison calling me the same evening of surgery to check in on how I was doing. I am now 6 weeks post op and love the results I am seeing! My incisions look fantastic, I am not in any discomfort and am back to “normal” (plus a few enhancements thanks to Dr. Allison!) I googled scar revision surgery for a scar on my leg that was bothering me for years. I always looked at it as an eye sore because it was discolored and it was a small circle in shape. So finally 20 years later now 37 years old, I decided to look into plastic surgery / scar revision. I found Dr. Allison through Penn Medicine. I had a consultation and he said he can cut both sides of it, remove the skin, and stitch it up. I had the stitches for 10 days and recently had the stitches removed. The skin is still healing but from my observation it looks so much better than the old scar. Very nice doctor, procedure was quick and easy. I will continue to monitor the healing process but so far I’m very satisfied 👍🏼

One must be very careful when working on one's face and Dr. Allison is the only person I trust! During my appointments for filler and xeomin, Dr. Allison was very knowledgeable and explained through procedures very well.
