GoogleI'm not sure if it's just me (I'm guessing not) but signing up for Medicare has been really challenging! I signed up for Part A at 65 but since I was covered under my employer's group plan I did not have to enroll in Part B. Long story short-(or maybe long) My company did a reduction in force for our whole department and I started the journey into trying to figure out all the enrollment rules, etc. to pick up Part B and either a supplemental or Medicare Advantage Plan. I talked with at least three different agents (telephone sales) over the next several months that all gave me different enrollment deadlines, etc. One guy was so forceful and rude I actually hung up on him! I finally ended up talking to Dave Silver and boy, am I glad I found him! He listened to my story, talked through my needs and was able to quickly place me in an awesome Medicare Advantage Plan that truly checks all the boxes for me. And interestingly enough, Dave was the ONLY agent I talked with that realized that I missed the Part D enrollment deadline and he had to deliver the news that I would have a lifetime penalty. He did so with empathy and understanding and I really appreciated his help- even though it was bad news for me. If you are confused about Medicare I encourage you to give Dave a call and let him help you through the process and he'll find a plan that meets your needs. I highly recommend Dave and I know you'll be glad you worked with him!
