How do you summarize nearly half a year of trauma? The answer is simply, you don’t. We’ve already told the story numerous times. We were of displaced from our home due to silica dust contamination. I suffered from chemical pneumonia for about two and a half months.
I find it much easier to tell a happier story. Dawn and Ryan of CRS saved us so much time, heartache and trouble. Remediation for silica dust is a very lengthy and difficult process. Throughout this process, Dawn insisted on perfection. She knew that the dust had caused a lengthy illness, and was relentless in making sure protocol was followed, documentation was recorded and provided, and communication lines were always open. I truly believe she was equally invested in making sure the job was done right. But Dawn and CRS went SO far above and beyond just “right.”
I don’t use certain words frivolously. Blessed is not a common word for me. But I truly feel blessed to have chosen CRS to help us through this. I know this beyond a doubt, since another restoration company (not of our choosing) came before her. And in a sampling of 4 different areas, that company failed all four tests for silica dust.
When CRS was finished with the job, it was a new house! I can’t thank Dawn, Ryan or their staff for all of their help, coordination, guidance, patience, and professionalism. Hopefully this will let other people in a bad situation know that there are good people, ready to help!

With the incredible rains we had in Charlotte yesterday, our basement flooded. We contacted our trusted plumber, Tim Breault, who recommended Will and his team….and they did not disappoint. By 8:00 PM (called them late afternoon), the work was done!!!!

Came home to water gushing out of the bottom of my gas water heater. Called Contents Restoration and they actually picked up the phone at 5:30 on Friday afternoon!!!. They were at my house within the hour with 3 guys, 1 lady. 5 minutes later after they came, a licensed plumber (their referral) got there to get the water all shut off and assess the situation. The water was all cleaned/sucked up, baseboards removed and 7 fans along with a big dehumidifier were put in to begin the drying process. I would recommend this company any day, all day!
