Excellent location to many places. Although it's adjacent to many places and near the main street, it is pretty quiet. You can't really hear the street noise if you're facing the main street. Seemed safe. It was clean inside and out. Snacks were a plus. Breakfast was decent, too.

The price is right! We chose this hotel based on its location, we wanted something close to an event that we were attending. It’s not in what I would call a great area, there was a solid amount of homeless in adjacent parking lots. We did like that it’s just off the freeway, it made coming and going easy. The hotel itself is a little rundown, but clean. I’m one of those people that wipes stuff down with a disinfectant wipe and the only thing that was gross was the A/C remote. They’ve got a great staff! Everyone was very friendly. The young man that helped us was quick and efficient. There was a grumpy (and loud) guy checking in at the same time as us and they handled him well. All in all, we’d stay here again.

I’m always hesitant booking in an area that I’m unfamiliar with, but am so happy I went with this hotel. Location was great, service was great. Room was super comfortable. we booked last minute trip to Safari Park for the holiday. The location of this hotel was closed to the zoo and conveniently to everything necessity. There are lot of good restaurants, target and gas station within walking distance. Prior booking I was not expecting much but was very pleased with the welcoming vibe ,service,clean room, comfortable bed , balcony with a great breeze, most of all the welcome basket and drinks in room are thoughtful . overall this hotel give exceptional hospitality feel for a 3 star hotel. breakfast was basic but good to have and convenient because we did not have to go out for breakfast. 5/5 and we will return if we come back in this area. p.s. we ordered foods from Phil's BBQ which is 10 minutes drive from the hotel and it was nice that the room had microwave and refrigerator. i was able to warm it up and stored it in the fridge.

When booking, the front desk guy told us this hotel was "one of the best Comfort Inns in California" And I actually agree! It isn't fancy, but all the important things are nice. The bed is comfortable, the service personnel are friendly, and the Jacuzzi works. Probably best of all, the breakfast is awesome. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel that excels at the basics, this place is perfect. Highly recommended! We'll be back.

I had a four night stay. Came to visit family and of course the beach. I felt very comfortable and safe. Older hotel but clean and great services. The front desk was very friendly & their breakfast choices had something for everyone! The pool area needs to be replaced!! Clean but in bad shape. The jacuzzi didn’t work at all in my stay so that was disappointing. All in all it was a very pleasant stay. I will be back. So convenient to everything.

First room smelled strongly of cannabis and they switched us to another room which was fine. Nothing mad fancy, but this hotel gets the job done. Breakfast was good and included fresh cut fruit which is amazing in our experience of free breakfasts. Pool shows some wear but clean and refreshing. Spa works and was nice after long drive. Appreciated the balcony too. Staff was nice, not exceptional but nice. Would stay again (probably this trip lol)

I like the comfort inn in Escondido. It is in a good location, close to the freeway,,fast food places, and restaurants. They serve a really big buffet breakfast every morning. I have never had a problem getting a reservation. The room are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. There is a pool and jacuzzi for your enjoyment.

It was just fine the hotel is older but still in good shape the beds were comfy but tall. We rarely heard the neighbors. The hallways were hot and the elevator tiny and had to pay attention to what floor as there were little to no markings and the screen inside didn't do anything. I felt safe and the staff was friendly. I'd stay here again if needed and would suggest to someone else.
