Came in for the night, staff was welcoming. They had coffee and lemon water available. In the room they had free bottles of water and snacks to choose from. The pool was refreshing and the beds were comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Lots of nearby restaurants, stores, and things to do.

Excellent service and excellent hot and cold breakfast foods and excellent amenities with free regular/Decaf. coffee, hot tea, ice cold lemon water at 1st floor lobby, free ice from ice machine on our floor of the Comfort Inn Escondido San Diego North County. Also, free 6 different snacks with bottled water for each of us, and coffee and tea at our hotel Inn room.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Comfort Inn Escondido and i must say, i was thoroughly impressed with my room, from the moment i walked in i could tell that the room had been meticulously cleaned and prepared for my stay. The first thing that caught my attention was the comfortable and inviting bed, the sheets were crisp and clean, and the pillows were fluffy and plentiful, i had no trouble falling asleep and waking up feeling well rested. The room itself was spacious and well designed, i appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the desk and chair for me to work at and the ample storage space for my belongings, the decor was modern and tasteful making me feel right at home. The bathroom was also impressive, with a large shower and plenty of counter space, the towels were soft and absorbent and there were plenty of toiletries provided for my convenience, one of my favorite things about the room was the mini fridge and microwave, it was so convenient to have these amenities in the room allowing me to store and heat up snacks and drinks during my stay. The overall cleanliness of the room was top notch, i could tell that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work as every corner of the room was spotless. The staff at the Comfort Inn Escondido were also friendly and welcoming, they were quick to answer any questions i had and made sure that i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was also ideal, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions i was able to explore the area and then come back to my cozy and comfortable room. Overall, my experience at the Comfort Inn Escondido was fantastic, the room exceeded my expectations and provided a comfortable and relaxing stay, i highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay, i will definitely be returning on my next trip.

Excellent hotel, receptionist was amazing, free high quality breakfast, quiet and large rooms with balcony, coffee and ice cold water at the reception 24/7. In the room, bottles of water, coffeemaker (and coffee and tea), and snacks!!!. That's high quality for the price!!!

Escondido is a nice little community. It took us about 35 mins to get to San Diego from there but it was so worth the drive, beautiful scenery and plenty of wine vineyards and good restaurants to visit…hotel was absolutely great…i saw the neg reviews and was worried - don’t worry! Great ppl running this hotel w constant cleaning good breakfast and comfortable beds. Each room even has a little patio for you to sit out if you want…loved it!

The comfort inn was in the perfect location for me. Right off the 15 with easy access to the 78. Has so many places within walking distance, target is a quick walk across the street, with a number of other shops and restaurants, so if you're tired of driving or dealing with traffic, you can get to at least 20 different food places within 5 to 10 minute walk. The continental breakfast offers a wide range selection so no matter what you like for breakfast there is high chance you'll find it. The room was spacious, offer a sitting area to kick back and relax on the couch. My room had a balcony which was perfect for relaxing also.

Total experience 9/10 Don’t let the looks of this hotel fool you!!! The staff was so friendly. We didn’t like the location of our rooms and they changed them right away. Location was great! So close to food. The breakfast was good! The only thing is I wish the breakfast area was bigger because it does get congested at peak hour. Eat at 7:30 am. The only con really is the floor at the pool is dirty. It needs to be pressure washed. But the pool and spa other than that are decent. It’s an older hotel. Not upgraded but you can tell the owners and staff really make up for it in other areas.

The staff was great. My room was clean and was freshened up every day. Great breakfast. The number of places to eat by the hotel are numerus. Back road to Del mar was a beautiful drive, and only 25 minutes away. I would stay ere again and highly recommend tis place

Overall was a nice hotel and close to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. However, it does need some updating to the rooms, e.g, lament flooring rather than carpet. Larger elevator. Also, the A/C wasn't working in the main hallways or lobby of the hotel as well as in the breakfast area. Something management should address especially since it was in the high 80's low 90's. Breakfast provided was very good. Staff were nice and pleasant.

The mattress was great. Room was clean and well thought out with many USB plugs, good bathroom lighting, WIFI and TV selections. The staff was outstanding; helpful with parking and anything needed: really friendly and nice. I feel like a got a good deal for my dollar. The hotel was packed, but I never "heard" anyone. We enjoyed a relaxing stay. Was it the Ritz? No, it was a restful, clean, use your extra money for a nice dinner out.

Very helpful staff and I enjoyed the daily breakfast that was complimentary. They had many options that suited our needs and the front desk staff was quite helpful as well. The location was great in relation to our tournament sites and there were many options for food and supplies nearby. Thank you for a great stay in Escondido.

Many thanks My husband and I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Escondido after our daughter was involved in a horrific hit and run accident and was admitted to a rehab facility nearby. The manager Raj, could not have been nicer or more understanding as we navigated through this family crisis. The bed was so comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was great and having laundry facilities on site was very helpful. Many thanks to Raj and his team for helping us with our stay during a very stressful time.

We were delighted with the bottles of water and basket of snacks in the room when we arrived. The young man at the desk was very helpful getting my tablet to connect. The breakfast is one of the best buffets we have had. Great little extras like the blueberries, strawberries and whipped for the waffles. The only negative was that the toilet seat rocked a little when you sat on it. I forgot to tell them at checkout, my bad. The room was very clean and the maid did a great job, as we stayed 2 nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owners are really friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast hours are packed and having a great assortment of options, fresh watermelon, grapes, cantaloupe. Breads, waffle maker, and the usual bacon, sausage, powdered eggs, biscuits and gravy. Only thing that I wish was kept better is the pool area. It’d be nice to pressure wash the pool area. It looks like it’s not been cleaned in a while. Debris in the pool water. When I look up at the roof where the chairs are situated, you see years or cobwebs hanging..

The only issue I have us the coffee in the lobby gets cold and they don't refresh it often enough. Rest is good. To many homeless around, but hotel can not do anything about that.

We got in kinda late may 17 2024 we were hungry for taco truck tacos so I asked the young girl at the front desk she recommended a place where I thought it was just a market ended up they sell all kinds of easy Mexican food this was the best information I received this that week I'm still full.
