Summer from canine dimensions was nothing short but incredible. She knew exactly what my dog was trying to tell me at every cue and showed me how to correct the behavior I did not want from my animal. Within 2 weeks the barking out of the window stopped and Within 1 month the leash pulling stopped as well. The coming months the reactions towards other dogs slowly started to become less and less. Its a life long journey training a animal but we are LIGHTYEARS ahead from where we started. Thank you so much Summer!!!

Night and Day- My husband and I decided to adopt a cattle dog from the shelter. From the start, we loved him, but we quickly realized that his high energy, inability to follow even simple commands, and tendency to nip were overwhelming for us. Not knowing his background before he arrived at the shelter made it difficult to understand the reasons behind some of his behaviors. This uncertainty led us to question whether adopting such a strong-willed pet was the right decision and whether we would be able to keep him as part of our family. During this challenging time, a friend recommended Summer at Canine Dimensions. The impact she had on Popi (our cattle dog) in a short time was remarkable—his transformation was like night and day. He learned to follow commands and has become a delightful companion. We gained confidence in taking him out in public without the fear of being unable to control him, while still enjoying his lively energy. Through Summer’s guidance, we discovered Popi’s triggers and learned how to manage them, and Popi learned to understand our expectations. Working with Summer at Canine Dimensions truly was a blessing for our family. We are deeply grateful for meeting her when we did, and we cannot imagine our lives without Popi as part of our family. Thank you, Summer! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Summer was an amazing trainer. She taught me so much about dog psychology and what they are doing, why and the way to correct the dogs behavior in a positive way. It takes time to train the dog on your own between sessions. After all the work that was put in, certainly accomplished the goals/outcomes I wanted leading into getting training for the first time.

Summer Rhoads of Canine Dimensions helped us with rehoming a two year old poodle from a breeding kennel. Molly had minimal to no training prior to us rehoming her. Summer helped us understand these dynamics and facilitated an effective transition for us and Moly. We found Summer to be an expert in dog behaviour and helped us effectively train Molly. Summer is a patient and knowledgeable instructor.

I contacted Canine Dimensions for help with leash reactivity and general behavioral issues with my 3-year-old Catahoula. Before working with Ryan, every walk was stressful, and I struggled to manage her behavior whenever we encountered other people or dogs. Although I had worked with her for some time, she isn't food-motivated, which made correcting her behavior even more challenging.

With Ryan's help over the past six months, we've seen a significant reduction in her leash reactivity, and I now feel much more confident in both her behavior and my ability to handle situations where she may become anxious or reactive. I really appreciate how clearly structured the program is, Ryan's expertise in assessing her behavior, and the variety of methods we used to reinforce her obedience training and desensitize her to external stimuli. I have no doubt her behavior will continue to improve as we consistently apply the techniques Ryan introduced through the Canine Dimensions program.

Canine Dimensions! WOW! We are so grateful for the expertise, the guidance, the encouragement and the experience.

Summer (our trainer) is truly special. She helped us to work with our dog, Jingle Belle, through common sense and loving techniques to shape her behavior. We have dubbed our Jingle Belle as the best dog ever!

Jingle Belle enjoys the positive reinforcement and the “work” she does to accomplish each new training goal. We have a stronger bond with Jingle Belle and feel thankful that we can trust her and have a plan for every environment/situation.

We also appreciate that zappers and pinch collars are not part of the training. We whole heartedly believe in the solid training techniques taught and reinforced by Canine Dimensions to bring out the best in our precious dog, and us…. yes, we have also benefitted from the training.

Summer, you are the best! Thank you so much for all you have done to shape and teach and care- you are amazing!

Summer from Canine Dimensions is an amazing trainer. I had an amazing experience with her, and I learned so much about my pup and how to properly communicate with him so we can build a stronger and trusting bond! Summer focuses on positive reinforcement, correction but not punishment, and teaching how to watch your pup’s body language so as to teach but not overstep so they remain comfortable. My puppy Moose had a lot of fear and nervousness before we started training. I learned a lot about how to help him overcome those fears without pushing his boundaries. Moose has made so much progress with Summer’s help, and I have learned so much about how to develop a trusting relationship with him that goes both ways. I recommend Canine Dimensions for anyone who wants to learn how to train basic obedience, but also just how to communicate and build a trusting bond with their pup!

Summer helped by giving me numerous tools and techniques to better understand dog behavior and control situations better than I had before. I was the one who needed training not so much Sully. The tools and techniques are invaluable, and it takes a lifetime and commitment to keep up the training I received. Thank you, Summer and Canine Dimensions!

We started working with Brendan when Charley was 8 weeks old. She's now over 4 months and my expectations have been blown away. Not only is Brendan extremely knowledgeable about effective training techniques, he also knows how to train people (this is a huge compliment). He's taught me how to read her and he's given us the tools to make sure she continues to grow through out her stages in training. This was the best decision I've made when researching training partners and I will absolutely be using Canine Dimensions when we add another dog to the family.

We picked up a rescue in May 2024. She is amazing but started to show reactivity and lack of confidence after about 8 weeks. We reached out to Canine Dimensions and began working with Ryan. While my partner and I always had dogs in our lives, Ryan shined a light on just how little we actually knew about dog behavior and quickly trained us to better support our rescue. She responded immediately - her confidence has increased, her reactivity has nearly disappeared and her trust in us is worth every cent. Highly recommend whether you are picking up your first pup or have lived with dogs for years. Thank you, Ryan!

My only regret is that I didn't find Canine Dimensions and Summer when I first got Oliver. I spent $100's on different trainers with frustrating endings. Oliver nor I learned anything beyond teaching him to sit. Summer in her gentle, but firm and calm approach was so amazing! She taught me how to teach my dog. Canine Dimensions is effective and convenient. I started leveraging their services and puppy socials to train our family's puppy. Training has been effective and kind to the dog. I feel empowered as a first time puppy mom. The trainers come to your home to teach skills, utilizing the environments and context the dog experiences the most. Their schedules are very accommodating and they are readily available for texts/calls in between sessions. The puppy socials have been a great learning experience for my dog and I. As the trainers explain proper play and intervene when necessary. These sessions are also monitored for vaccinations - which is great when your puppy is between vaccination periods. Puppy socials are also open to the public provided they meet the health, age, and weight criteria. This time has been valuable, safe exposure. I highly recommend Canine Dimensions.

We have 3 large labs of varying ages and were in desperate need of training, particularly when walking on leashes with all of them. To say we were "those people" whose dogs drag them down the street, bark and lunge at every other dog, and create massive amounts of embarrassment while walking in public is an understatement. We've had 4 sessions so far and have already seen a huge improvement in each of our boys. They walk much better on the leash and don't lunge at other dogs when walking by. We've even improved on their basic commands as well.
Breanne has been a huge help for us and has had a lot of patience dealing not only with our boys but with us as well. The training is just as much for humans as for the dogs! We are very grateful for the training and I can report that we have been walking around our neighborhood without embarrassment!

I hate writing reviews because I feel as though my words will never convey how greatful and thankful we are/were. Canine Dimensions helped us to become knowledgeable consistent dogs owners. Helping our two great dogs to become fantastic! Yes, we are still progressing, but we have the dogs that people brag about!

We have two wonderful pups that were adopted a year a part. Our first, a German Shepard mix, was trained at a facility after we brought her home. Upon adopting our second, a lively lab Mix, there as a shift in our household. We were seeing more "alpha" behaviors from our Shepard and our lab struggled to master any command other than "sit." With the guidance, training and support of Brendan (our trainer) we were able to learn the "why" of dog behavior, specifically our dogs, and basic steps (training) to correct the behavior. I will tell you, it takes work! If you put in the time with your pup to practice you will be amazed at the changes in your pup; for the better! Our pups now heel, place when the doorbell rings, wait at stairs and doors for us, and 'wait" for dinner.
The investment is worth it!

If you’re struggling with your pup and need some help I highly recommend Canine Dimensions! Jaci is amazing with tons of knowledge. Being a first time dog owner is hard. Our “little” rescue fell into our lap at the most unexpected time. He has a lot of energy, and some of that pesky anxiety that comes from being bounced around from home to home. I was so happy to give him a happy forever home, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into or what I was doing. I’m so glad I invested into training him with a professional, as he has improved beyond my expectations. He’s a puppy and he still has some work to do, but so do we and we are learning together. Jaci gives us the tools we need to be the best pup parents we can be for him.

We really enjoyed and benefited from Canine Dimension's in-home training sessions with Ryan Rhoads. Canine Dimensions has put together a great training program. We had amazing success with our GSD puppy. Our dog, Vika, started the program in January 2024 at 3 months old and finished up on July 19th on her 9-month birthday.

The monthly training sessions were very productive. The Client Workbook was a great informational manual and training resource which includes detailed instructions for most training and obedience challenges. We were given specific homework assignments as shown in the manual and demonstrated by Ryan in the previous session. We still reference this manual as Vika goes through yet another developmental phase.

This program gave us remarkable success as we too were committed and able to put forth the work needed to raise a GSD puppy. Ryan helped make this possible by guiding and teaching us as well. He was instrumental in helping us learn what our puppy's drive was, the level of correction needed and when/how to properly correct the behavior. Vika really liked Ryan and responded well to him. It was and is a very hands-on program.

During the program we had access to direct contact with Ryan. If any questions or new behaviors surfaced, we could send a text and video to Ryan and get suggestions and recommendations right away. It was also easy to call and set up the training sessions.

Proper socialization was a large part of Vika's training. Homework was fun but also time consuming. But now each time we go out, we are amazed at how Vika is developing into a really happy sociable shepherd, able to go just about anywhere from dog parks to festivals.

Thank you Ryan and Canine Dimensions.

We just completed our puppy obedience training with Summer and are amazed by the transformation that has taken place in our lil' Sophie over the past 5 -6 months. Sophie was pretty much uncontrollable, and we weren't sure if there was any hope of having a well-behaved dog before Summer gave us the tools we needed for us, and Sophie, to be successful. The chaos in our home was terrible, but that is now in the past.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Summer is. Not only is she reliable, she is so calm and natural with dogs (and humans too 😁). She's full of information about dogs and their behaviors. Watching her handle Sophie was amazing. Our crazy hyper puppy actually listened and followed commands when Summer was at our house! She frequently reassured me during our sessions, as well as through texts or phone calls, when new problems or questions came up between her visits to our home. It didn't take long before we started to see that Sophie was listening to us more and more. Having a crazy hyper puppy is actually manageable! Scheduling with her was super easy, too.

I can truly say that the training we received with Summer has given me so much confidence. I have actually received a few compliments on how nicely she walks on a leash, when I used to feel embarrassed and defeated on our walks. We have kids and they have learned how to handle her, too. People can come to visit and we now have a plan to help her transition from barking/jumping to being pretty chill with guests. It's all a work in progress with a puppy, but we have learned the tools we need to continue her training through all phases of her life. It's reassuring to know that we can always contact Canine Dimensions, and Summer, with any questions that come up in the future or to schedule more sessions, if needed. Thank you, Summer, for bringing some sanity back into our lives! We are forever grateful for the time you spent with us! ❤🐕

I began training my 5-year-old Golden with Jaci about a month ago. While my dog had basic training when she was young, it was difficult as she is a covid puppy. During the best time to train her was during the shut down, and I never pursued anything after, until now. My Lulu is a very hyper, and active dog who I want to train to become a therapy dog and be able to take her to various hospitals and the airport.
Working with Jaci, in just a short month has been amazing. She has been able to show me what I need to do to become the alpha. Yes, there is work to be done outside of the training sessions, but I make it fun for both myself and Lulu. Even my older (11‐year-old) dog has joined in! We practiced the new skills for 5-10 minutes a day a d the results are just amazing!! Lulu is listened better, acting better when friends and family come over, and she just feels happier and less stressed.
I highly recommend Jaci and Canine Dimensions for training your fur baby and you!

When I called Canine Dimensions they assured me that through their training and our homework we could resolve the problem.

I want to thank Summer for all of her hard work and help. She was so informative, reliable, compassionate and caring. Vito and I always looked forward to her coming to our home and working with us. She always provided practical advice and her own experience. When Vito and I walk now I no longer worry about him or I. More importantly I no longer worry about his reaction to other dogs since I have the tools to change his focus and securely move him away from the situation.

We have been working with Breanne in Denver and she is incredible. We have loved her style of training, her efficiency with teaching, and how we are able to always reach out to her with questions. We are working on training a 9 month old puppy who is hitting his teenage years. She has been training us to be successful with door manners, our current biggest problem. He wanted to jump, bark, and charge the door. This tended to overwhelm guests and was hard for us to have friends and families over. He is listening so well now!

For a year, we struggled with training our two rescues. The biggest issue was with the one that was so reactive to other dogs on walks that he would scream, flail, throw himself face first to the sidewalk. Such a sight that people were taking video thinking we were abusing him. We had hired a dog trainer for 3 sessions that helped very little. We sought out help on YouTube but found many conflicting methods. We finally realized that our lack of experience and knowledge was likely making their behaviors worse.

Through the training we received from Canine Dimensions, we have gained the confidence we needed and the trust of our dogs that was so crucial to helping them. We saw immediate progress and even a relief in our dogs that we were finally teaching them what they needed. However, it was with our last two training sessions that something “clicked” with the reactivity to other dogs. We walk nearly every day now with no embarrassment or fear from other dog owners and neighbors. We actually get compliments on how well-behaved our dogs are. Even after our training has ended, we see progress because we have the tools we need to keep working with them. Now we know what our dogs’ behaviors actually mean and we have stopped making them worse with our previously misguided reactions. We are truly very thankful to Canine Dimensions for training us to help these dogs become comfortable and happy in their world.
