I visited Angeleno Chess Club several times lately and I met the Chess Coach and became familiar with the program. they make it very interactive and fun for both kids and older players and that sets them apart! visit them and you will not regret it. Ask for Levon Altounian.

They teach chess very well! Coaches are very strong in chess and help with preparing for competitions. What I liked is how the teaching is based on interactive approach, explaing history and adding stories. Should work for beginners even better I am sure. Give it a try!
