Our contractor suggested we get a second opinion from American Air after another local HVAC company quoted us what we felt was an unusually high price for repairing a gas fireplace insert that was not working. This firm was the same firm who had installed and serviced the gas insert. They were recommending that we replace the gas valve, the most expensive component of the insert. Additionally, my family had noticed an unusual smell whenever we used the fireplace. We had mentioned this on multiple occasions to the original firm’s service team, but they had been unable to resolve the issue.
American Air did some impressive troubleshooting and quickly determined that there were spiderwebs blocking the gas orifice, preventing the free flow of gas. They also noticed that the exhaust line was not properly seated and clamped, allowing exhaust gases to leak into our home, a serious safety issue. In a very short period of time, the American Air team resolved all our problems for less than half the cost we had been quoted by the other firm. They were polite, punctual, and they left everything better than they found it.
Dan and his top-notch team will be the first call we make when we have any HVAC-related issue in the future.

OK a little more cost to me because I'm out of town I'm very satisfied. I went through another company this winter for my duckless mini split. We had an old boiler system that gave us hot water and heated our home as well give out on us on a weekend. Tim came out promptly and had a quote and installation of a new water heater/HVAC system the same week! Right before all the snow. I felt bad the employees were working out there in cold weather but they got the job done and us back up and running. Thank you! We appreciate everything you did for us.

I give America Air the highest gold star rating! AA recently installed a new furnace and air conditioner in my home. A bid was given on a Wednesday and the new units were installed the following Monday. The following day an AA representative visited my home to follow up with any concerns (none) or questions I might have and provided step-by -step instructions for the digital thermostat. The sales representative, service technicians, and the office staff were professional, knowledgeable, skilled, polite and on time. Thank you American Air!

We highly recommend American Air...we had our AC stop working on an extremely hot day, on the weekend, and contacted them asking for help. They sent someone within about 20 minutes, and got it fixed right away. They are always very responsive, very polite, and get there quickly. They make each client feel like a priority, and treat them like a priority. I struggled thru 2 weeks of a cold house. Original installer company was here three times; expensively, without a fix. I called American Air and the technician repaired mistakes made by the techs of original installer in an hour. System working great. Go with American Air first.

My AC unit outside stopped working on one of those hot days, over 100 degrees. I called American Air. They sent out someone the very next day. Chance was very personable and professional. He explained that my capacitor needed replacing, a common problem. And he explained all of the charges and options for replacing the capacitor. I was afraid that I would need a whole new AC unit since it is over 20 years old. A less scrupulous business would have tried to get me to buy a new unit. Instead, Chance replaced the capacitor and I was good to go in a few minutes. $300 instead of $4000. Thanks for being honest!

I called American on a Sunday afternoon for an A/C that was not working. The owner answered the phone. It was about 100 degrees outside. Dan, the owner had someone at the property within an hour. I had to pay a Sunday rate, but it was more important that the response was fast given the heat outside. I would estimate the A/C was repaired within 2 hrs. of the initial call. Dan was friendly understood the importance of speed given the heat and it was much appreciated. I'll use them again.
I should mention Total Comfort Solutions was the company I've used in the past but my last experience was not only poor but I was overcharged. When brought to the attention of the owner he was rude and unprofessional. I won't use them again.

When our air conditioning stopped working on a Tuesday night, they sent a repair technician at 8 AM the next morning. The AC unit’s issue was diagnosed immediately and fixed within half an hour. And on what would be a 100 degree day! Very impressed all around and will definitely call them again for any HVAC needs.
