My dad has enjoyed his stay with Alderwood Manor VERY much! He has enjoyed the staff and talks of the cleanliness of Alderwood. The food he also enjoys. For my dad not to have any complaints means the world to me. I personally just think some of the staff could do better at communicating their concerns to family members. I appreciate all of their efforts they have put into my dad. Yes, I would recommend this place to others. My dad is a hard person to please yet he was fully satisfied with everything at Alderwood and for that I am truly grateful to them. They have physical therapy, activities, ice cream days, and church services on Sunday. It was easy to get ahold and talk with the social worker and that was what I truly appreciated as a residents family member.

Staff was eager to help out and very friendly. Residents seemed to be content with their surroundings. My family I visited there did not pull me aside to mention anything bad about the place, which makes me believe that the care given to residents is worth 5 stars. That's what I gather from the place after 1 visit. To be fair there is no place like home, but this place might make for a decent runner-up.
