I started going to Dr. Zarei when I lived in Coralville, because it was close and convenient. My wife had to have some dental work done, and she was really impressed with his skills and his pain management. Dr. Zarei told me that dental work should not hurt. If it hurts, they will find another way to do it. I've since moved further away, but I keep coming back. He is good. He knows his stuff. He is up to date on all of the latest techniques. I would highly recommend Dr. Zarei.

2022 Update -- it really bothers me that the insurance companies care more about their bottom line, than whether the people that pay for the insurance get good dental care. The insurance companies are jerking Dr. Zarei around, and I'd rather change insurance companies than change dentists.

Dr Afsie is wonderful!
He was patient and kind, answered all my questions.
I was seen and treated in a week.
I did not have any pain during the procedure or at home afterwards.
He has a sense of humor and a contagious smile.
I highly recommend Afsie Dental care for anyone.

I have terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. I went 5 + years without a cleaning and many more with cavities and a chipped tooth. Last week I had an old filling fall out from my front tooth. I was instantly terrified but knew I needed to find a dentist. I read DR. Z’s reviews and after days of texting back and forth with him I was finally ready to take the leap. When my husband and I arrived Dr. Z was so kind. He took the time to talk to me and he continued to talk and keep me calm through the entire procedure. I plan to continue treatment with Dr.Z. I am beyond thankful!
